Laser Wash 5024 Yellowstone Ave. PURPOSE OF REVIEW: Site Plan Review. Present: Mayor Steven M. England, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes, Steven M. Smart, Larry Kohntopp, Ron Conlin, Randy Severe, Ron Osborn, Merlin Miller and Eric King. Gary Packham, P.O. Box 3 100, Pocatello was present to present the Laser Car Wash Site Plan. Gary Packham stated he is completely remodeling the Car Wash at 5024 Yellowstone Avenue. The site plan was approved with. the following conditions: 1. All storm water drainage will be on site. There is a separator required but no storm water drainage is allowed down the sewer. Mr. Packham will work with Sean Harris. 2. Landscaping requirement shall be; a) landscaping on north and south comers adjacent to Yellowstone Ave, b) Pots with flowers in front of car wash structure. 3. Gary Packham is required to complete a non-residential waste water permit application and return to the City. 4. Exterior lighting is required to be shielded on property as much as possible. 5. Knox box is required. 6. Address shall be clear and visible from Yellowstone Ave. 7. Sanitation dumpster shall be enclosed on three sides. 8. Required to have necessary security for cash boxes. "I../ W -A CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO ESIGN REVIEW MEET LICATION The purpose of this application is to establish a meeting and review time with the City of Chubbuck Desion Review Team consisting of the Mayor, Building Official, City i� Planner, City Engineer, Fire Marshal, Police Chief and other City staff as required. The Design Review Team meets every Tuesday morning between the hours of 10:30 and 11:30 AM. This team will work in unison, with you, to establish the criteria for your project as it relates to the adopted ordinances of the City of Chubbuck. Keep in mind, this is an informal review and is only conducted on Submitted applications. This is a review team not a design team. Provide (10) ten sets of drawings, (8 1/2 X 11), at least eight days in advance of your scheduled meeting. Formal review of your plans or project by City Staff is conducted after formal application. Once you schedule your Design Review, it is very important to keep that appointment so others can be scheduled accordingly. Laser Wash Owned by GBD,LLC Chubbuck residents Gary and Bobbi Packham, owners of GBD,LLC have purchased the old D's Car Wash located at 5024 Yellowstone Hwy. In Chubbuck, ID.. D's Car Wash has not been operational since 2001. The building has been allowed to fall in to disrepair and the equipment has become obsolete. GBD currently operates two self -serve car washes one located in Rupert and the other in Rexburg. The Packham's have also operated five Grease Monkey locations in Southeast Idaho since January 2001. GBD will provide the necessary investment to fix up the property so it is no longer an eyesore to the community, but also a source of revenue to the Packham's and the city. The lot will also be upgraded to include an oil/ water separator and a storm water drainage area. Electrical support for the property will also be upgraded to handle the needs of new car wash equipment. The building will have roof and concrete repairs done prior to the new exterior and interior paint application (see renderings). The existing exterior lighting, will be used as well as the pole sign. New panels will be replaced in the sign (see rendering). I would be happy to answer any questions the city may have.
