COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES-1:45PM
PERCH ROOM, BOISE CENTER, BOISE IDAHO
CALL TO ORDER by Mayor England,
Present were: Mayor England, Kermit Morrison, Ryan Lewis, Brent Marshall, Rich Morgan and
Amy Manning. Absent; Josh Ellis.
GENERAL BUSINESS:
1. Discussion on Health Insurance Coverage provided by the IIIA to the City of Chubbuck.
Amy Manning explained that the City of Chubbuck joined the IIIA with the rates they had with
their previous provider. This coming year the IIIA is offering the City of Chubbuck a rate
reduction of 10%. Along with the maximum mod factor that the City qualifies for of 5% and the
proposed overall rate reduction of 1 % the city should see a reduction of 16% in their premiums.
Amy explained the concept of the pool and trying to stabilize rates for the members of the pool.
Amy told the council about the life insurance that has been added, the EAP program through
BDP that has been added, the wellness programs that have been implemented.
At 2:15pm the Mayor adjourned the meeting.
