held in the Municipal Building of the Village~6f Chubbuck on October 12~ 1965.
Preeent - Ward, Hillman, Underwood, Twiggs and McDevitt.
Absent- Christensen.
Called to order 8:00 P.M.
Minutes of last regular meeting then read and approved as read.
Specifications for Streets- Noel Brenneman asked what the specifications for streets
are in the Village. Ward answeres that we will have this information after we pass the
Building Code Ordinance. Brenneman also stated that the P~one Co. has placed a
utility pole in the sidewalk next to the street at the new Chevron Station. Board all
agreed that the pole should be moved to the back of the sidewal~, and off the 5Oft
allowed for the street. The ~none Co. will move the pole and a motion was made to
have the pole moved to a~ least the north side of the sidewalk. Motion was made by
Hillman, seconded by Twiggs, and all in favor. If everything is in order, the Board
will stand back of Brenneman if there is a dispute with the Phone Co.
Moving of existing Fir~ Hydrant- Brenneman asked if a Fire Hydrant can be moved. He
woul~ like one just south of the Interchange moved 50 ft south of the present location.
After al!long discussion the Board advised him it could be moved if he paid for it.
Bills for the month presented to Board. Motion to approve payment made by Hillmau,
seconded by Underwood, All in favor. Financial report for month presented to Board.
McOmber bill for difference in cost of 4 in and 6 in pipe will be paid when he presents
a paid invoice on the pipe.
Letter on Building Code Committee Meeting read by McDevitt. Letter on file. Ordinance
on Building Code will be read for passage at recessed meeting to be held Thursday,
October 21, 1965 at 8:00 P.M. in Municipal Building.
Photo-Copy of Deeds fromM rs. Lloyd Grooms and Wm A. Wood will have to be studied by
McDevitt and Ballif before Board can act on them.
Gravel Pit in Village- McOmber wants to open up a gravel pit behinf the Colonial Motel.
Board cannot stop this unless the Building Code Ordinance has a provision for it.
All delinquent water is to be shut-off without notice.
Fire Truck- Twiggs reported we should get a good used one if we can find it. He has
several in ~ind and wants to see them before making any further recommendations.
He also suggested that we get a sprinkler truck if we can find a gooA used one.
Dumping inside Village- Underwood reported that people are using the F.M.Bistline
property just south of Well House No 1 as a dump ground. Clerk will call Bistline
and report this and see if he wants to put up signs of No Dumping and No Trespassing.
Village could only erect the signs at the entrance. If Bistline will not cooperate
then the Village will have the signs put up.
