Moving of gas pumps.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes, Ray Griffin,
Jerry Rowland, Eric King, Ron C. Conlin, Jim Phelps and Gerd Dixon.
Dave Nutting, Big Bear Chevron, 4259 Yellowstone Ave. presented a hand drawn site plan, not
to scale, showing a change in location of his gas pumps. Mr. Nutting said they came into
the City for a permit and was given a permit, but was not told about going before the
Design Review Committee. Construction on the station began June 12~h., 1998.
Gerd explained, when they came to Cary Campbell for a permit, they told Cary there was only a
change in the canopy, nothing about moving pumps, etc., or Cary would have referred
them to the Design Review Committee.
Mr. Nutting asked that the landscaping requirement on frontage to Yellowstone Ave. be waived,
or put at a different location because of lack of space on the lot.
Gerd stated the following needs to be addressed:
1. Gas Line inspections.
2. Drainage concerns.
3. Landscaping requirement.
Design Review Committee required Mr. Nutting to bring in a complete site plan, tO scale,
showing:
1. Location of gas lines.
2. Address drainage concerns.
3. Landscaping plans.
Mr. Nutting said he will get back to the City as soon as possible.
