Raising and selling Snakes

Commercial Snake Business at residence, Apartments on
W. Chubbuck Road behind D & S Electric.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Attorney Thomas il. Hohnes, Steven Smart, Cary Campbell,
Jerry Rowland, Eric King, Ron C. Conlin, Jim P ~elps, Larry Kohntopp and
Gerd Dixon.
Curtis Brandt, W. Chubbuck Road was present stating he would like to raise and sell snakes
from his residence on W. Chubbuck Road. Mr. Brandt explained the neighbors are not
aware of what he is doing, but did not think there will be any impact on them.
BO Campbell said the reason he brought it to Design Review is because, City Code does not
address snakes. BO Campbell stated it should probably go through Laud Use &
Development Commission. After discussion, it was decided BO Campbell and Larry
Kohntopp will go to tl~e site and see the proposed operation. Attorney ito]rnes stated he
wonld like to review City Code.
