Lee and Cindy Madden
Convert Lee's Towing Building to conduct auctions, flee
markets and car shows.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Steven Smart, Cary Campbell, Jerry Rowland, Ron C. Conlin,,
Eric King and Larry Kohntopp.
Cindy Madden was present to present a site plan on converting Lee's Towing Building to a place
for events such as, auctions, flee markets and car shows.
Cindy Madden said the building occupancy is 858, there will be no fixed seating.
Cindy Madden said they would like to start the conversion in May, 1998.
After discussion, the following requirements were put on the approval.
1. There will be one access on East Linden allowed.
2. The shaded parking area on site plan is required to be paved, with the balance of
paving required as needed.
3. Fire Hydrants are required within 150' of building.
4 10' Landscaping requirement with automatic sprinkling is required on property facing
E. Linden Ave. The remaining landscaping will be sprinkled with irrigation water from
canal.
Cary to review restroom facility requirements with Cindy Madden's architect.
As business grows, maximum requirements will be required as needed.
