DESIGN REVIEW SUBJECT: Fitness Center at 265 E. Chubbuck Road.

PROJECT:
Fitness Center, 265 E. Chubbuck Road.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Steve Smart, Jerry Rowland, Jim Sempek, Eric King, Ron C.
Conlin, Jim Phelps, Sean Harris and Larry Kohntopp.
John Ohs was presented a proposed site plan and discussed his plans with the Design Review
Committee.
The following was discussed:
1. Adding showers. They will need a building permit, and are required to meet
shower handicap requirements. Mr. Ohs said he will contact State Plumbing
inspector.
2. Will have a tanning bed.
3. Will have a weight room.
4. They are not going to have a sign now. In the future they will use the existing
sign.
5. They will have required exit signs.
6. They will have emergency lighting installed.
7. Mr. Ohs said he would like to open March 1st, 2000.
8. Mr. Ohs was told he need to apply for a business license.
Design Review Committee approved the request subject to all requirements being complied with.
