citizen of the United States of America more
than 21 years of age, and the Principal Clerk of
the Idaho State Journal, a daily newspaper,
printed and published at Pocatello, Bannock
County, Idaho and having a general circulation
therein.
That the document or notice, a true copy of
which is attached, was published in the said
IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, on the following

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
PROJECT TITLE: City of Chubbuck, Kays
Kove Retaining Wall
Separate BIDS for construction of Key-
stone Block Retaining Wall, Gutter,
Sidewalk Pavement patching and other
related work as set forth in the contract
documents for the City of Chubbuck,
Kay's Cove Retaining Wall, will be re-
ceived by the City Clerk/Treasurer at the
City of Chubbuck Municipal Building,
5160 Yellowstone Ave., Chubbuck, Ida-
ho, 83202 until 2:00 p.m. local time on
August 10, 2010 and then at said office
publicly opened and read aloud.
The work involves the construction of
Keystone Block Retaining Wall, Curb
and Gutter, Sidewalk, Pavement Patch-
es, Fencing and Misc. Incidental Items.
The project is located along Hiline Road
immediately North of Chubbuck Road.
All parts of work not specifically men-
tioned which are necessary in order to
provide a complete installation shall be
included in the bid and shall conform to
all Local, State, and Federal require-
ments.
The Project Manual, Drawings and Ex-
hibits may be examined at the following
locations:
1. City of Chubbuck Municipal Building,
5160 Yellowstone Ave., Chubbuck, ID
2. Rocky Mountain Engineering and Sur-
veying, 2043 East Center Street,
Pocatello, ID
3. Builders Exchange, 120 N. 12th Ave.,
Pocatello, ID
4. AGC Plan Center, 984 John Adams
Pkwy, Idaho Falls, ID
The Project Manual, Drawings and Ex-
hibits may be obtained at Rocky Moun-
tain Engineering and Surveying, 2043
East Center, Pocatello, ID. Copies of
these documents may be purchased for
a non-refundable fee of $45.00. In deter-
mining the lowest responsive bid, the
City will consider all acceptable bids on
a basis consistent with the bid package.
The City will also consider whether the
bidder is a responsible bidder.
Before a contract will be awarded for work
contemplated herein, the City will con-
duct such investigation as is necessary
to determine the performance record
and ability of the apparent low bidder to
perform the size and type of the work
specified under this contract. Upon re-
quest, the bidder shall submit such infor-
mation as deemed necessary by the
City of Chubbuck to evaluate the bid-
der's qualifications.
All bids must be signed and accompanied
by evidence of authority to sign. All bid-
ders and subcontractors shall have ap-
propriate Public Works Licenses in force
at the time of the bid.
Bids must be accompanied by Bid Securi-
ty in the form of a bid bond, certified
check, cashiers check, or cash in the
amount of ten percent (10%) of the
amount of the bid proposal. Said bid se-
curity shall be forfeited to the City as liq-
uidated damages should the successful
bidder fail to enter into contract in accor-
dance with their proposal as specified in
the Instructions to Bidders.
The City of Chubbuck reserves the right
to reject any or all proposals, waive any
nonmaterial irregularities in the bids re-
ceived, and to accept the proposal
deemed most advantageous to the best
interest of the City.
