City of Chubbuck - Northwest Interceptor
Program, Portion A
Rio Vista Lift Station I Force Mains and
Gravity Sewer to the Pocatello WWTP
Pursuant to IC 67-2805, "Procurement of
Public Works Construction", the City of
Chubbuck (City), Idaho is requesting State-
ments of Qualifications (SOQ) from li-
censed public works contractors who are
interested in bidding on the Northwest
Sewer Interceptor Program - Portion A,
Rio Vista Lift Station / Force Mains and
Gravity Sewer to the Pocatello WWTP.
The project consists of approximately
10,100 feet of gravity sewer ranging from
12" to 42" diameter, approximately 5,040
feet of parallel force mains (10" and 18"),
and the construction of one site -built lift sta-
tion with an ultimate capacity of 24 cfs (ini-
tial pumping capacity of approximately 3
cfs). Actual bid quantities may change
pending the ongoing final design of the
project. Several borings underneath water
ways are anticipated as part of the project.
The opinion of estimated project cost is be-
tween $7,000,000 and $10,000,000. It is
estimated that the project will bid during the
Summer of 2009 and have a contract dura-
tion of approximately twelve (12) months.
The City reserves the right to cancel or
postpone bidding or award of a contract for
the project.
The Request for SOQ Informational Packet
contains the project description, SOO forms
and requirements, and evaluation criteria.
Contractors must submit a response in the
format outlined in the Request for Contrac-
tor Qualifications. Any response may be
withdrawn prior to the scheduled time be-
low for the opening of the responses or au-
thorized postponement thereof. Copies of
the SOO Informational Packet may be ob-
