Present: Mayor Cotant~ Councilmen Kinghorn, Menard~ Romriell and Taylor, Attorney Burnett and clerk Vera Armstrong. Meeting called to order by Mayor Gotant. Minutes of January 8 and 11 meetings approved as written. IDAHO METAL FINISHING CLAIM - Attorney Max Parrish, representing Idaho Metal Finishing~ informed council he had discussed the claim with Oregon Const~ctions insurance agent. PAP~.DISE ACRES - Dean Lloyd, representing Mortgage Insurance was present and showed changes they contemplated from their original preliminary plat presented to city some time ago. Mr. Lloyd proposed neserving approximately 7 acres frontage along Siphon Road for possible school~ church or commercial development. Mayor informed Mr. L~oyd he had had inquiry about the property across the highway from his develop- ment~for commercial and industrial use. Mayor remarked he would he would like to talk to Larry Perkins on storm drainage for streets. Council suggested Mr. Lloyd contact Fort Hall Irrigation and inquire if drain ditch along Yellowstone could be piped. Mr. Lloyd to get back with city after some study on plat. RESOLUTIONf~Ig-7~, terminating the city's affiliation with Southeast Idaho Council of Governments read in full by Attorney Burnett. Councilman Kinghorn moved the city adopt Resolution ~-9-7~- Taylor seconded with an unanimous vote in favor of motion. EASH~ENT ON PARRISH PROPERTY - Mayor informed Max Parrish and council the city had received a letter from D. A. Gadd, Oregon Construction~ requesting the easements be ready for construction by February 1, 1975. Maypr informed Mr. Parrish the city would send a memorandum to Parrishes which states the agreement with them on the easements. AUDIT - Contract needs renewed. Mayor and council decided to send letter to Ken V. Carter requesting audit be completed July 1 of each year. ACCEPTANCE OF STREETS IN MOBILE MANOR discussed by mayor and council. Councilmen Taylor and Menard said they felt dry wells might be needed plus concrete cross drains in a couple places. JOINT MEETING WITH SCHOOL DISTRICT - Mayor Cotant reported the school district mentioned the desirability of sidewalks wherever possible . Mayor also reported the school district was willing to develop a grassed area on the school ground property in the Country Acres area. Mayor is to write a letter to the School District acknowl- edging and recommending the development of the grassed area on the school ground property and a letter to the Browns on Targhee notifying them of this development of grassing the area.
