Minutes of a special meeting of the mayor and council held in the city
municipal building April 30, 1979.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Jr., Councilmen Dwain A. Kinghorn, LeRoy S. Quick, Earl L. Romriell, Engineer Steven M. Samrt and Clerk Vera
C. Armstrong.

Meeting called to order at 5:00 o'clock p.m. by Mayor Cotant.
GENERAL DISCUSSIONS:
1. Sidewalks and fence requirements in the city were discussed.
Mayor and council seriously considered and decided to change the
fence requirements in land use ordinance. They proposed and
decided to change the fence requirements that no fences are allowed
to be constructed within the setback area for sidewalks and also that
the vision area should be 10 feet from dedicated street right-of-way
instead of vehicular right-of-way.

RESOLUTION 4 - 79 - Authorizing filing of an amendment for a Park Grant
for improvements to the Stuart Park was read by Mayor Cotant.
Councilman Romriell moved to approve Resolution #4-79. Councilman
Kinghorn seconded motion. Roll call vote: Kinghorn, yes; Quicks yes;
Romriell, yes.
Mayor and council also agreed to include a comfort station in the amended
application.
Meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m.

CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING
.CHUBBUCK CITY COUNCIL
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50-706, the undersigned
members of the City Council of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho,
hereby call a special meeting of the City Council to be held
at the Chubbuck City Offices, 5160 Yellowstone Avenue, at the
hour of 4:30 p.m., on this date, the 30th day of April, 1979.
The object of the special meeting shall be to consider
adopting a Resolution to make application for a Park Grant
Amendment for improvements to the>Stuart Park.
