Truck terminal located on 200 Block ofE. Chubbuck Road.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Steve Smart, Jerry Rowland, Ray Griffin, Larry Kohntopp, Eric
King, Merlin Miller and Ron Conlin.
Bob Elzner, Western Transport was present to present his site plan for Western Transport at the
200 Block ofE. Chubbuck Road.
Mr. Elzner said he would like the office to be to the back, (south) of the property. Mr. Elzner was
told he is required to pave to the office, along with paving for employee parking.
Mr. Elzner said this is a temporary use, he plans on selling the property for commercial use within
a year.
After discussion, Larry Kohntopp said Bob Elzner is required to go through the Land Use &
Development Commission. A trucking terminal is conditionally permitted in commercial.
Discussion about the width of curb cut onto the property.
Steve told Bob Elzner he should get a letter of request for curb cut to Steve so the State can
install the right size.
Bob Elzner will apply for a conditional use permit.
