Minutes of regular meeting held in the city municipal building,
July 14, 1992.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Council members Leroy S, Quick,
Steven M. England, David A. Landor, W. Dean Wood, Attorney
Thomas J. Holmes, Public Works Director Steven M. Smart and
City Clerk Ron C. Conlin.
Meeting was called to order at 7:45 p.m. by Mayor Cotant.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES - Mayor Cotant asked for corrections or
additions to the regular meeting minutes of June 23, 1992,
Councilman Wood moved to approve regular meeting minutes of
June 23, 1992 as read. Councilman Landor seconded. All council
members voted in favor of motion.
ORDINANCE ¢377 - An ordinance annexing certain lands to be included
within the boundaries and jurisdictional limits of the City
of Chubbuck.
Mayor Cotant read Ordinance ¢377 in full for the third
reading.
Councilman Quick moved to adopt Ordinance ¢377 as read.
Councilman Landor seconded. Roll Call Vote: Quick, yes;
England, yes; Landor, yes; Wood, yes.
BUSINESS LICENSE APPLICATION Julie Fegan,
Pocatello has applied for license to sell
to door in the City of Chubbuck.
2271 S. Fifth,

Julie Fegan gave a report on how she is going to sell
publications door to door.
Police Department recommended approval of the business
license.
Councilman Landor moved to grant a business license to Julie
Fegan, 2271 S. Fifth to sell pub]ications door to door.
Councilman Quick seconded. All council members voted in favor
of motion.
ACCEPTANCE OF OFFER OF DEDICATION - On the 24th. day of March, 1992
42 the final plat of Espie Addition Subdivision was approved
by the Chubbuck City Council and said plat is recorded on Page
37 Book 12 of the Book of Plats of Bannock, and is further
recorded as Instrument No, 92006739 in Book 12 of the official
records of Bannock County. The said approval of the final plat
does not, under the provisions of Title 17 of the Chubbuck
City Code, constitute an acceptance of the offer of dedication

Councilman Quick moved to Accept the Offer of

ORDINANCE ~378 - Repealing Section 8.16.010 of the Chubbuck
Municipal Code repealing prior conflictmng ordinance;
providing for the severability of the provisions of this
ordinance; providing that all other sections and provisions
of Chapter 8.16 not herein amended shall remain mn full force
and effect.
Mayor Cotant read Ordinance ~378 in full for the first
reading.
Councilman Wood moved to dispense with the rule of reading
Ordinance ¢378 on three separate days. Councilman Quick
seconded. Roll Call Vote: Quick, yes; England, yes; Landon,
yes; Wood, yes.
Councilman Quick moved to adopt Ordinance ~378 as read.
Councilman England seconded. Roll Call Vote: Quick, yes;
England, yes; Landon, yes; Wood, yes.
RESOLUTION ~7-92 - A resolution of the Mayor and Council of the
City of Chubbuck, amending Resolution ¢4-92 to define the
geographic boundaries of the Urban Renewal Area.
Councilman England moved to adopt Resolution ¢7-92 as read.
Councilman Quick seconded. All council members voted in favor
of motion.
ORDINANCE ~379 An ordmnance providing, with respect to certain
lands within the boundaries of the City, lying east of
Interstate 15, located in the NE 1/4, Sectmon 11, Township 6
South, Range 34 E.B.M., from single family residential (R-l)
to General Commercial (C-2) for changes in the Land Use
Pattern prescribed in the City's Comprehensive Plan.
Councilman Wood moved to dispense with the rule of reading

seconded. Roll Call Vote: Quick, yes; England, yes; Landon,
yes; Wood, yes.
