HomeMy WebLinkAboutDR Lynn Reindlisbacher 6/18/02DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING June 18th, 2002 APPLICANT: Lynn Rindlisbacher PROJECT TITLE: Townhouse Apartments LOCATION: 5240 Block of Yellowstone Ave. PURPOSE FOR REVIEW: Proposed residential development. Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Attorney Tom Holmes, Steve Smart, Richard Webb, Eric King, Ron Conlin, Jim Phelps and Larry Kohntopp. Lynn Rindlisbacher, Alan Romriell and Earl Romriell were present to present a proposed residential development site plan at 5240 block of Yellowstone Ave. Mr. Rindlisbacher said he came to Design Review Committee to get a feel on what will be required and to see if the PUD would be approved. The following was discussed and suggested: 1. Not a gated community. 2. Crash gates were discouraged. 3. They want to used speed bumps. 4. Storm water is to be retained on site. 5. ITD is requiring an acceleration lane from Yellowstone Ave. 6. Common access with Tastee Treat discussion. 7. Monument sign entering the development. 8. Mr. Rindlisbacher said he is installing a 6' vinyl fence on the south and west side. 9. Discussion about white two rail vinyl fence facing north. 10. Requirement is a minimum of 20' for streets in the development. 11. Eric King asked Mr. Rindlisbacher to present a print out showing where the fire hydrants are located. 12. Required to have address on main building and building numbers or letters on each building. 13. Preliminary Plat is required. Alan Romriell presented his site plan of storage sheds to the north of the development, Mr. Romriell said the storage shed road will be asphalted. The storage sheds will be totally fenced. FC King asked Mr. Romriell to present a site plan showing where the fire hydrants will be. Alan Romriell was told he will have to make application for a preliminary plat.
