COUNCIL MEETING MINUTED
May 24, 1994
Minutes of a special meeting held at the City Municipal Building,
May 24, 1994.
Present= Mayor John O. Cotant, Council members Leroy S. Quick,
W. Dean Wood, Marvin C. Gunter and City Clerk Ron C. Conlln.
Councilman Steven M. England, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes and
PWD Smart was excused.
Mlchelle Miller, Carol Gunter, Larry Miller, Jerry Wltt were
present.
Meeting was called to order at 6,30 p.m. by Mayor Cotant.
PURPOSE OF MEETING is to discuss 1994 Chubbuck Days Celebration.
1994
CHUBBUCK DAYS CELEBRATION - Michelle Miller stated the
Highland Lassies will participate in the Chubbuck Days Parade.
Councilman Gunter stated he will try to find a replacement for
Skippers operating a fish pond. Skippers is under new
management and cannot operate the fish pond anymore.
Rose Worsencroft will be Grand Marshal in the parade. Mayor
Cotant stated he will get information on Rose Worsencroft to
Mary Harker.
Mayor Cotant stated he will contact all churches in the City,
asking children to carry flags in the parade. City should use
the United States Flag as the theme.
Little League games will be coordinated with ending of parade
on Saturday. There will be three championship games played on
Saturday.
Michelle was directed to contact either, Wal-Mart or Days Inn
and Motel 6 about starting the parade in their parking lots.
Probably would be best to start the parade at Days Inn and
Motel 6 Lots.
Councilman Gunter suggested the dinner start at around 6~00
p.m. Friday, having a "Milk Can Dinner" charging S3.00 per
plate.
Discussion about how much power will be needed for booths.

should apply. We will try not to duplicate booths.
Ron was directed to inventory paper supplies, and' advise
Councilman Gunter.

with full council approval to adjourn meeting.

CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50-604, the undersigned Mayor
of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, hereby calls a special meeting of
the City Council to be held at the Chubbuck Municipal Building, at
the hour of 6,30 p.m., on Tuesday, the 24th. day of May, 1994. The
object of the special meeting shall be to discuss 1994 Chubbuck
Days Celebration.
