to order at 7:00 p.m. by Hayor John O. Cotant.
PURPOSE OW SPECIAL MEETING is to discuss and update E. Chuhbuck Rd.
residents on progress of East Chubbuck Road Widening Project.
EAST CHUBBUCK ROAD WIDENING PROJECT - Mayor Cotant suggested a
final decision be made on whether a four lane, or a five lane
be constructed on E. Chubbuck Road.

Jim Close, 739 E. Chubbuck Road spoke in favor of a four lane
project to the railroad tracks, then create an Local
Improvement District to pay for improvin~ E. Chubhuck Road
from railroad tracks to three lanes to East City Boundary.
Councilman Quick suggested a consensus be taken from residents
in attendance.

Councilman Wood moved to go with a four lane project from
Yellowstone Ave. to Hiline Road. Motion died of lack of
second.
Dee Greene, 410 E. Chubbuck Road spoke in favor of three lane
project. Against four. and five lane.
Councilman Gunter explained residents will pay for a three
lane project, because State or Federal will not participate on
a three lane project.
Councilman Gunter moved to approve a four lane
railroad tracks, and three lanes to Hiline Road.

Jolene Hutchison, 400 E. Chubbuck Road spoke in favor of a
five lane project.
Attorney Holmes presented Bannock Planning Organization's
traffic counts, they show a 6% increase per year.
Councilman Gunter moved to approve the East Chubbuck Road
Widening Project to be four lanes from Yellowstone Ave. to
Hiline Road. Councilman Wood seconded. Roll Call Vote: Quick,
no; England, yes; Quick, yes; Wood, yes. Motion passes.
