HomeMy WebLinkAbout06-17-2008dr2 DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES June 17th, 2008 APPLICANT: A & I Distributors, 900 1st Ave North, P.O. Box 1999, Billings, Montana. PROJECT TITLE: Lubricant Distribution Yard. LOCATION: 100 Block of Southside Way, (south side). PURPOSE OF REVIEW: Site plan approval. Present: Mayor Steven M. England, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes, Steve Smart, Larry Kohntopp, Ron Conlin, Randy Severe, Ray Griffin , Eric King and Andy Despain. Jeff Butler, Butler Builders presented the site plan. Larry Kohntopp stated the application went to the Land Use & Development Commission and was approved. Mr. Butler stated he thinks they will have a monument sign. Design Review Committee approved the site plan with the following conditions: 1. Required to have one 50' radius type approach instead of two approaches. Mr. Butler was asked to present a plan showing the 50' radius type approach. 2. Required to use dust abatement on the property. 3. 10' landscaping requirement with automatic sprinkling system. 5% interior landscaping. 4. On site storm water retention is required. City will need calculations. 5. Inside sprinkling is required, they are required to present plans to City and State. 6. Lighting shall be shielded to stay on property. 7. Required to have a short plat. 8. Required to present to Building Department plans, with architect stamp. 9. ADA Compliant. 10. Required to have a three sided enclosure and pad for sanitation pick up. Shall accommodate City's front load sanitation pick up. 11. Required to have a knox vault. 12. City wants to see water and sewer line location. 13. Required to have an on site fire hydrant, Fire Department will advise Mr. Butler where to locate. 14. Address of building shall be visible from street.
