APPLICANT: Katie Johnston
PROJECT TITLE: Infant Day Care Center
LOCATION: 124 Belva Lane
PURPOSE OF REVIEW: Site plan Approval.
Present: Mayor Steven M. England, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes, Steven Smart, Larry Kohntopp,
Ron C. Conlin, Merlin Miller, Randy Severe, Ray Griffin and Eric King.
Katie Johnson and Shelly Rupp were present to present the site plan.
Katie Johnson stated this is a building across from her child care facility on Belva Lane. Katie
Johnson stated this building will be an infant day care facility only, (0-18 months). Ms.
Johnson stated she would like to be open for business November 5th, 2007.
Design Review Committee approved the site plan with the following conditions:
1. Required to comply with off street parking pavement requirements and have paved
prior to June 1st, 2008. Required to work with City Staff.
2. Any sign is required to be approved by Building Department.
3. Landscaping is in compliance.
4. Storm water drainage is required to be on site, swale, grass, the plan shall be approved
by City Staff.
5. Exterior lighting is required to be contained on site as much as possible.
6. Clear address on building.
7. Require to have the required smoke detectors - these should be inspected by the Fire
Department. Land line phone is required.
8. Building Department plans are required.
9. Katie Johnson is required to have an additional business license prior to opening.
