APPLICANT: Mother Goose II, Tricia Willie
PROJECT TITLE: Day Care
LOCATION: 134 E. Linden Ave.
PURPOSE OF REVIEW: Site plan approval.
Present: Mayor Steven M. England, Councilman Kermit Morrison, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes,
Steve Smart, Larry Kohntopp, Ron Conlin, Randy Severe, Ray Griffin, Monte Mecham,
Merlin Miller and Eric King.
Dale Willie stated he would like to open a day care at 134 E. Linden Ave. Mr. Willie stated there
will be no cooking at the day care.
Dale Willie was told the day care workers are required to be individually licensed.
The site plan was approved with the following conditions:
1. The day care is required to follow all Day Care Licensing Codes.
2. When any sign is installed they are required to meet with City Building Official.
3. Required to comply with landscaping requirement with automatic sprinkling, with
deadline being May 15th, 2008.
4. Storm water drainage to be contained on site.
5. Exterior lighting shall be shielded on site.
6. Required to have a knox box.
7. Over 50 children, they are required to have an alarm system.
8. The day care wants to use sanitation carts rather than a dumpster.
9. Dale Willie was directed to contact the City if another business moves in the building
they are in.
10. Required to be ADA Compliant.
11. City Building and Fire Inspectors will conduct an on site inspection.
12. Required to have a business license.
