held in the Municipal Building of the City of Chubbuck on September, 10, 196~.
Present-Hillman, Buchanan, Thompson~ Taylor and McDevitt.
Absent- Henr~, excused, out of town.
Called to order 8:02 P.M.
Minutes of the last regular meeting read and approved as read.
Dean Lloyd of ~or~gage Insurance Corp. presented plans for a Sub-division adjoining
the Chubbuck Climits just east of Greener Pastures and going east to Yellowstone.
The plans were studied by Council and they are to be presented to the Planning
Committee before any action will be taken by the Council.
Re-sealing City Streets- Motion to accept the County Proposal of approximately
$3,858.60 for cost of material and labor to reseal Briscoe Lane, Hiway Ave., Stuart
Ave and North Side of Stuart ~'ark, Parrish Drive, East Burnside, Burley Drive and
Yalenty Road, made by Buchanan, seconded by Taylor. Ail in favor. The County will
furnish their own machines.
Building Permit Report presented to Council. After discussion it was decided that
McCallum residence at 223 E Chubbuck Road is to be checked weekly for progress on
building and see that it is up to Code. Check Dom Lovin on East Chubbuck hoad and
see if he had a Permit to remodel his home.
Delinquent Water Accounts- Since Parkway Motor Court and Evergreen Trailer Park have
made no attempt to put in a water meter and their water bills are 2 momths past due
they are to be shut-off.
Well No 3 - Idaho Power wan~s a signed agreement for a guaranty yearly fee for power
to Well No 3, the same as they had with the previous owners. After discussion it was
decided that McDevitt meet with ~obin O'Neil and come to some agreement so the
Council can si~n it.
Burley Drive 'Water Line- Thompson reported that he tried again to get the residents
on Burley drive to come to some agreement but he was not successful. After discussion,
A motion was made by Thompson that since Newbolds are delinquent in paying their
water account that the water be shut off at the main at approxiam~ely ~00 feet south
of East Chubbuck ~oad, at the point where it leaves our easement, and is not to be
turned on again till all right of way easements are granted to and accepted by the
City. Motion seconded by Buchanan. Ail in favor.
City Offices- Proposal No 3 was discussed and decision was that we need more t~f~e to
think about this matter and also need opinion of ~lan~ing Committee.
Idaho Power Error- City is to bill Idaho Power for Dyke's keapir bill to pump that
was damaged by an error on the part on an Idaho Power Co. Employee.
Bills for momth presented to Council. Motion to approve payment made by ~h~mpson,
seconded by Taylor. Ail in favor.
In the future the Clerk is to make a copy ~ all the bills for the month for each
Council member and the Mayor, to save time in reading all the bills.
Meeting recessed at 9:25 P.M. till further notice if necessary.
