held in the Municipal Building of the City of Chubbuck on August 13, ~968.
Present- Henry, Hil]~man~ Taylor.
Absent- ThompSon, Bucflanan, and McDevitt.
Called to order 8:05 P.M.
Minutes of the last regular meeting then read ~n~ approved as read.
Protest to raise in water rates- Motel and Trailer Court o~mers were ]i::~resent and
protested the new water rates. After discussion it was decided they will read the
meters where there are meters, and the others will install their ovm meters. The
meter reading for a ~ao~t~ will be taken and their bills will be adjusted according
to the meter resding. It was also suggested that the City needs an Ordinance on the
Code for Gas installations.
Size of water lines- Clerk is to check past minutes for a policy on new water lines
whereby the Council will not apFrove any new water lines under 6 inches in size.
Bills for month presented to Ccuncil. Motion to approve payment made by Hillm~n,
seconded by Taylor. Ail in favor.
Financial report for past month presented to Council. There was no report from the
Building inspector. Taylor suggested that we need a new Inspector.
F~yor Henry appointed James E ~alenty as the new Police Judge as Charlotte Kennedy
wants to retire from the position due to illness in her fatally. Appointment was
approved by Council.
McOmber asked about the water bill at the Colonial ~iotel. Council told him it would
be adjusted to the Meter keading.
Water System Survey- ballif is to take care of th~s in the future.
Meeting recessed at 9:05 F.M. till further notice if necessary.
