Present-Dawis,~itchell,Frasure,Ward, Hillman, and ~¢Devitt. ~inutes of the last regul&r meeting then read and approved as read. Bills for month presented to Board. Davis-8. l?, The bill from B & D Excavatin~ is to be withheld till they pay for a lO0.OO hook-up they received on ~est Chubbuck Road. Financial and Police rep~.rts for month presente~ to Board. ~.H.Levell- ~laims the curb box has not been put in at his new connection. Hensley explained that Ray Bowden asked that it be left out till he made the connection on to the house and then he ~ould put it in. Levell says that he will not pay She connection till the curb box is installed. The water is to be shut off if this connection is not paid. ~ingo Addition- hail man asked if this will be numbered like the ~est of the Village and if so what are the names of the streets. Board all agreed that tkis will be numbered as seon as the plat is accepted by the Board. ~ail man said that l'or now he will have to leave the residents mail on Yello,'~stone as there are not enough people living there yet to warrent his ~riving up there every day. Civil Defensm Project- Joint County and City Civil Defense Program explained to Board by Davis. County wants the Village to pay a fee of 1OO.O0 for this project. 50.00 no~ and 50.00 before the firzt of July l~61. No action was taken on this ma~ter at this timm. Armory Connection- has ~een put in and the Army has been billed for it. Liquor Licenses- The fee for Liquor Licenses in the Village has raised ~ith the increase of population. The fee will now be lO00.OO with 500.00 going to t~ State, ~?~.00 to the Village, and 12~.O0 to the County~ This information may be found in the Idaho Liquor and Be~r Laws as of Januaryl, 1960. ~hitaker ~oad-Residen~ are in need of water and asked the Village to find some way to get the money to put in the line. They need l?O0 feet of line and the cost ~ould be about 3000.00 with one Fire Hydrant. They also asked for street signs to protact their children. NcDevitt ex?lained the position of the Board members and the Village Budget to them ~d also stated that there is nothing the Vil_age can do in the immediate future. A len~by discussion followed wit~ mention of Local Improvement District and State Health Dept. as possible means of securing the money for the project. They also aSked if Hiway Ave. could be'extended east over the tracks of the ~ailroad. ~cDevitt said it could but it would be best to wait till the now pending Eailroad Court Case is settled. ~in~o Subdivision Plat- was studied by the Board but no action was taken to accept it at this time. There is a question of location of raods to be settled before the Board will accept it. So far on the plat the mames of the streets are Lucky Ave. running north & south, and Adams Street rurn~ing east & ~est. J.H.Stuart- asked if the Village could pass an Ordinance to prevent Trailer Ho~ses from parking all over the Village, as t~is has hindered his subdivision development. After much ~iscussitn the Board cecided to consider such an Ordinance, but no action was taken at this time. ~eeting recessed at 10:00 P.~. subject to .all, if/~ecessary. /~ Village Cler~--~-'~
