HomeMy WebLinkAbout05 17 1960 CM Minutes of the recessed meeting of May 10, 1960 of the Board of trustees of the Village of Chubbuck, held in the office of the Clerk at ll3 Valenty Road, Chubbuck Idaho, on May 17, 1960 Present- Davis, Ward, Mitchell. Absent - Frasure, unable to locate. Hillman had a previous engagement but phoned in his approval of the agreement. Called to order l:10 P.M. Purpose- Study an agreement between Village of Chubbuck and County of Bannock on the water to be furnished tothe new Bannock County Fair Grounds by the Village of Chubbuck Water System. The agreement WaS read in full by each Board mamber prement. After a discussion, a resolution approving the agreement was read in full by the Clerk. Roll call vote for approval of the resolution as follows: Davis - yes, Ward - yes, Mitchell - yes, and Hillman - yes. Meeting recessed till further Village Clerk notice if necessar~ at 1:30 P.M. Present- Davis, Ward, and Mitchell. Absent- Frasure and Hillman. Purpose- 0oen bids for construction of Pump Houme. Called to order 12:10 P.M. Two bids on the pump house were opened, namely, L. & R. Falter presented a bid of 1,Sh0.00, and J.J.Menard presented a bid of 1,~28.90. Motion made by Ward, seconded by Mitchell and all in favor to accept the bid of J.J.Menard. Roll call vote for acceptance of Menard bid- Davis-yes, Mitchell-yes, and Ward -YRS. The Baord also approved the transfer of a Beer License from one building to another on the same lot for Sa~ Valenty. Hensley stated that he had no objection to the transfer. Police Car- Check with McDevitt and see about any bids on a Police Car. Hensley presented the Board with the following offer, namely, he will furnish the car plus gas & oil, ti~es, r~pair~, and Insurance for a m~nthly rental ~oard will study this offer after Hensley presents a definite f~gure for rental. Deltnquent Water- Ward made a motion to ~ave Clerk contact McDevitt ~nd have him take action against R. Isling for delinquent water account. Motion seconded by Mitchell. All in favor. Police Phone- Davis reported that the Phone Co. is giving new rates for the Police Phone soon. Water Turn Off job- Pierce has stated that he does not have time to take care of this job. After ~iscussion a motion was made by Mitchell to hire Ron Halw~rson for the job. Motion was s~conded by Ward. All in favor. Beer License for Loyal 0~der of Moose at Fairgrounds- There were no objections from the Board or Hensley, so the Clerk will issue this License. 0~eeting ~ecessed at l:10 P.M. subject ~o call if/fl~ecessary.
