Present- Davis, Frasure and Mitchell. Absent- Hillman and Ward. Called to order 8:10 P.M. Minutes of the last regular and one recessed meeting then read and approved as read. Bills for month presented to Board. Motion to approve payment of bills made by Frasure, seconded by Mitchell. All in favor. Bills~ as follows:C. Hensley-282.~8, G. Financial report for month then presented to Board. Water to County Fairgrounds- County Commissioners gave a definite answer and they do want water from Chubbuck. It will be a month before the road bed and fills can be made and they want to wait till after that to start the water line. Letter on Traffic- read in full by Clerk. Board d~L~cided to refer the letter to the Attorney and action will be taken later. The letter was in refenence to traffic through private property and private driveways without first coming to a complete stop, and thus endangering the lives of employees working at p-laces with such driveways. Park Fund- Clerk reported there is a balance of 199.30 in the park fund, that was donated by residents in the Village. It was suggested to the Board that this money be used for pipe for a sprinkling system for the Park. The Board will decide on this later. Police Car- Hensley reported that the Police car is using a lot o£ o~l. The Board asked him to have the car checked and fixed if necessary. Assistant Water Master- Pierce has decided he will keep the job for now. The ns~es of applicants for the job will be kept on file for future reference if necessary. Sabin Water Connection- He owes a back bill of l~0.00. He wants to pay 60.00 now and then pay 9.00 a month till the balance of 90.0 0 is paid. The Board decided that they will not m~ke exceptions, he can pay it all now or else just forget about it. The water is turned there at present and is not to be turned back on till the 150.00 i s paid in full. Hawthorne Water Line- Neider is to furnish his bill for his share of the line on Hawthorne plus two fire hydrants in his addition. We have the bills from Chastain and Carlyle. We will work out a repayment plan on these bills in the near future. Briscoe property- Vern Briscoe tried to explain the wildCat line~ that exists on his property and through his property to the Elmer Smith property. He said he would like to cooperate with the Village in getting this straightened out. After a discussion it wos decided to get this straightened o~t as soon as it thaws and they can work. Village maps- Balltf said they are about thrmugh with them and will present them as soon as they are ready. He also suggested a Building Permit Ordinance. The Board advised him to contact the Attorney and see if they can't work out some Ordinance to cover Building Permits and the Board will consider it later.. Village C ~k , Chairman of Board.
