Village of Chubbuck, held in the Municipal Building of the Village
of Chubbuck on October 13, 1959
Present- Davis, Hillman, Mitchell Frasure, Ward and McDevitt.
Called to order 8:0~ P.M.
Minutes of the last regular and one special meeting then read and
approved as read.
Bills for the Month presented to Board. Motion to approve payment
made by Hillman, seconded by Frasure. All in favor. Bills as follows:

Financial and Police Reports for men, th then presented to Board.
Water- Davis told the Board that a c¢~ntractor for planting grass
along the new highway would like to get water from the Village for
the project. He would use about 10,000 gals per day for l0 days.
After a discussion the Board all agreed on a 50.00 flat fee for
the 100,000 gals of water he would need.
Hiway Ave Oil Job- not done at this time as all residents on the
street could not raise the money to pay their share. Street Lights- are all installed now and in use.
Signs- Davis explained the types and prices of signs available.
After discussion the Board decided to order 2 stop signs @3.20 each,
4 Dead End @ 3.20 each, 4 Speed @ 2.95 each and 4 Children Playing
@ 2.95 each for a total of 41.80 for all 14 signs. The Board also
decided that they need 6 saw horses or street ~r~iers and that the
Clerk is to c~ntact John Valenty and have him mmke the barriers.
Letter from L. H. Ballif Associates, Engineering Consultonts,
was read in full by Clerk. The letter concerned surveyin~ the entire
Village and making maps in detail of the Village. After discussion
the Board decided to turn the letter over to McDevitt so he could
get a definite price and detail of the work~.to be furnished for that
pr~e, and get this information as soon as possible. The price quoted
in their letter was approximately 1,900.00.
Bank- no action at ~resant. The possibility ~f a Bank in Chubbuck
is at the observation point now~
Future planning- The possibility of running our water line down
Quinn road was discussed. There was no decision reached at this time.
