the Village of Chubbuck, held in the Municipal Building of the

special meeting is attached herewith to these minutes.
Called to order 6..0~ P.M. .~
Present- Davis, Ward, Frasure, Mitchell and Hillman.
Purpose- Discuss the acceptance of streets in the Stuart
Sub-division.
Davis informed the Board that the F.H.A. interest rates were
to be increased and acceptance of the streets at this time was
important in order to complete F.H.A. loans now in process.
Question of water hook-ups charges was again brought up. Ward
explained conversation with Mr. Stuart concerning water hook-ups.
Mr. Stuart asked that the Board consider accepting 37.50 for the
46 water connections, as installed prior to the new ?5.00
Ordinance, and that he had failed to pay at the old Ordinance
charge of 25.00. If the Board would accept this proposal, he,
J.H.Stuart, would finish paying in full for all hook-ups now
made and not paid at this time. After thorough pro and con .~dis ~
cussion on the matter Ward made a motion to accept 37.50 for all
hook-ups made prior to the new 75.00 Ordinance and that the
water dept. is to receive a check on Monday Sept. 28, 1959 for
the balance due in full. All other hook-ups on the Stuart Sub-
division in the future would come under the new 75.00 hook-up
Ordinance, the same as all other hook-ups on the Water system.
This motion was seconded by Hillman. The attorney then advised
that it would be legal to ratify the a~reements in effect prior
to the new Ordinance. Motion put to roll call vote.

letter should include the phrase"That portion of streets lying ~
within the limits of the Village of Chubbuck." McDevitt rephrased
the letter, copy of which is attached herewith to these minutes.
McDevitt advised the Board that the letter would obligate the
Village in maintaining the streets from this date on. Motion
made by Hillman to authorize the Chairman to sign the letter
of approval and present same to proper persons. Motion seconded
