CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Burch
COUNCIL PRESENT: Norman Reece, Dan Heiner, Melanie Evans, and Roger Hernandez.
STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Rodney Burch, City Attorney Ryan Lewis, Public Works
Director Bridger Morrison, Municipal Services Director Kami Berger, Parks Manager Aaron
Schilhabel, Planning Manager Don Matson, Development Services Manager Sean Harris, Fire
Chief Chas Clark, Human Resource Director Scott Gummersall, City Treasurer Eric Jablonski,
and City Clerk Joey Bowers.
GENERAL BUSINESS:
1. Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)/Aid Agreement with Pocatello Fire Department.
Chubbuck Fire Chief Chas Clark and Pocatello Fire Chief Shane Grow presented an
automatic aid agreement; which means the closest appropriate fire resource is dispatched
automatically, regardless of jurisdictional boundaries.
2. Fire Budget Presentation.
Fire Chief Chase Clark stated the Fire Department is completely funded through City
property taxes. Chief Clark went over the current makeup and the roles and
responsibilities of the Fire Department, and a proposed budget for FY27.
3. Building, Planning, and Development Budget Presentation.
Public Works Director Bridger Morrison went over the current makeup of the
Building, Planning, and Development Departments. Mr. Morrison went over roles and
responsibilities for each department, capital projects & equipment, future personnel
needs, and proposed a budget for FY27 for each department.
4. Parks Budget Presentation.
Municipal Services Director Kami Berger went over the current makeup of the Parks
and Recreation Departments. Mrs. Berger went over roles and responsibilities for each
department, capital projects & equipment, future personnel needs, and proposed a budget
for FY27 for each department.
5. SharePoint Presentation.
City Clerk Joey Bowers presented a SharePoint platform as a centralized location for
documents, communication, and collaboration.
