Present- Ward and Valenty. Absent- Hillman, Fenwick, Frasure and Caldwell. For lack of a quorum this meeting was adjourned to Sept. 17, 1958 at ?:00 P~. Present- Hillman, Fenwick and Valenty. Absent-,lard, Frasure and Caldwell. Called to order 7:10 P.M. Minutes of the last regular and one recessed meeting then reaa and approved as read. Bills for the month presented to Board for approval of payment. Motion to approve payment maae by Valenty, seconded by Fenwick, All in favor. Bills as follows: C. Hensley-133. h2 ,R. Hall-30. a2 ,Murra~ Press-70.75, C · Caldwell-65.00, Phone-19.h9, Power- 72. a2, County Cemm.-153.00,Pocatello Poli ce-2.50, Triangle Service-17.al,Sinclair-51.31,Continental 0il-32.39,Standard Oil-3.80,Power-15~.07 Grinnell-30.15, Crane Co-7a. 88, Waterworks Equip. -238.19, J. Pie rce-lh. 50, O. Rawls-2.75- A Bill from Transport Clearings was returned to them by the Clerk for a detailed account of the bill. The bill was not itemized nor did it state where the merchandize was shipped from. Financial and Police Reports for the month then presented to the Board. Hensley is to ask the Judge about a 125.00 fine for D.~'.I.charge, The Board feels that the money should be turned in and if a refund is necessary it should be made by check. Old Business- Freight bills. The bills for last month were checked by the Clerk and found to be correct, McOmber- Wants the Board to put in an improvement district to straighten out the improper connections on Evan's Lane. The Board does not approve of his idea. Cal~well- Valenty talked to him. He would like to finish up the work he has already started for the Village then he will resign. Christensen will take the job, for 40.00 a month retainer fee to include all work and Ordinances, except Court Cases and Bond Issues. Valenty is to contact the attorneys tomorrow. Store Licenses- All have been contacted by Hensley. Three have yet to get them. Retainer ~all- The job has been contracted to Menard for 120.00. He has already started the work. Deed for the property from Getty is all ready to be recoraed and will then be filed. C'~' Neider Subdivision* Has h~ connections to be billed at 25.00 each hook-up. Some lets had already been sold so Neider is to furnish a list of the names of property owners and the rest of the hook-ups are to be charged to Neider. Stuart Subdivision has approximatelt 26 connections. This figure is to be checked and then he will be billed for the exact number of hook-ups at 25.00 each. Hook-up Charges- Valenty brought up the question of raising the price of the hook-up charge. ,e would have to amend our Ordinance to raise to fee te cover all labor and materials to a foot inside the proper~y line. This is to be discussed when all Board members are present. Hensley's Vacation P~y- Check back on the minutes and work out a soiutien with him as to how much time he has coming and pay him. Fenwick asked about water for the church in Chubbuck. They have water there. They are not billed for it. Meeting adjourned at 8:35 P.M. V~llage Clerk Chairman ~f Board
