SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 885
An ordinance of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, updating por-
tions of Title 15, Title 16, and Title 18 of the Chubbuck City
Code as set forth below. Amending Section 15.24.020 Sign
Regulations, clarifying the height limit for monument signs;
Amending Section 16.12.040 regarding landscaping as relates
to sight triangle to incorporate the Access Management Guide-
lines; Amending Title 18, Chubbuck City Code, as follows:
Amending Chapter 18.06 by: deleting Section 18.06.040 defi-
nition of Animal Care Site, amending the definition of Childcare
Center in Section 18.06.080 to conform with changes to Idaho
Code, adding Section 18.06.095 to define Convenience Store,
amending Section 18.06.145 Hotel/Motel to exclude short term
rentals, amending Section 18.06.150 "Household" to include a
residence with 8 or fewer unrelated persons with disabilities
or elderly persons who are supervised in a group residence,
amending Section 18.06.1.60 Kennel to exclude veterinary clin-
ic or animal shelter, adding Section 18.06.195 Machine Shop,
adding Section 18.06.225 Pet Shop and Supplies, amending
Section 18.06.240 Production Building Cluster Arrangement
removing paragraph 2 related to R -2T use district, adding Sec-
tion 18.06.285 Service Station, adding Section 18.06.295 Short
Term Rental, deleting Section 18.06.300 Shop, adding Section
18.06.305 sight triangle, amending Section 18.06.390 Vehicle
Sales to include Service and Supply, adding Section 18.06.405
Veterinary Clinic or Hospital; amending Chapter 18.08 as fol-
lows: by amending Section 18.08.010 to include Highway Cor-
ridor and Village as enumerated Districts, amending Section
18.08.040 Land Use Table to include revisions to definitions
from 18.06 and to change where Home Occupations - Major
and Minor are permitted, amending Section 18.08.042 Sched-
ule of General Controls Lot Size and Setbacks for Zero Lot
Line Residence Dwellings, deleting Section 18.08.050 Zero Lot
Line Residence Waiver; amending Chapter 18.12 by: amend-
ing Section 18.12.020 Yard, Height, Use controls to include
reference to the Access Management Guidelines as relates to
sight triangle, and amending Section 18.12.030 Supplemental
Controls for a Particular purpose as relates to subsections B by
replacing animal care sites with veterinary clinic or hospital and
with revised standards, and subsection M by replacing vehicles
sales site with vehicle sales, service and supply, and adding
subsection N supplemental controls for Short Term Rentals,
and amending Section 18.12.032 supplemental controls for
Minor Home Occupations to Include individual and or group
instruction or tutoring, parking, amending supplemental con-
trols for Major Home Occupations to replace Day Care with
Family Day Care as defined in the Code and amend to orga-
nized classes and to prohibit on -street parking for home occu-
pations; amending Section 18.14.020 Landscaping for certain
areas to incorporate the Access Management Guidelines; and
amending Section 18.16.040 to provide a term of approval to
Design Review Clearance approvals; and amending Section
18.19.070, table 19.2 renaming automotive sales to vehicle
sales and service, and renaming animal care site to veterinary
clinic or hospital and add vehicle repair site to the table as not
permitted in either the HC or V districts; amending Section
18.20.040 to remove outdated reference to PUD public hearing
requirement before City Council; amending Section 18.20.100,
Streetscapes and Sign Standards in PUDs, adding a reference
to adopted sight vision triangles at intersections and driveways;
amending Title 18.32.020, Permits and Municipal Services, to
delete reference to the removal of structures; repealing Section
18.32.040, Criminal Penalties Section 18.32.050, Conditional
Occupancy Permit.

I have reviewed the foregoing summary and believe it pro-
vides a true and correct summary of Ordinance No. 885 and
