The election will be held for the purpose of electing the following offices for the specified terms: two Councilmembers (seat 2 R 4) for a term of four years each, and Mayor for a term of four years. Candidates for the city elected office are required to file a Declaration of Candidacy with the City Clerk; specifying the office sought and affirming that the Individual is a qualified city elector, meaning: at least 18 years of age, a U.S. citizen, the candidate's primary residence must be within the city, the ad- dress of the candidate's voter registration must match the res- Idence address provided on the candidate's declaration, and the candidate must have resided in the city for at least 30 days prior to submitting their declaration. It a person claims an ex- emption under section 63-602G, Idaho Code, then the home- stead for which the exemption is claimed shall be the person's residence for voting purposes.
