CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO <br />ORDINANCE NO. 4 3 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, ENACTING <br />CHAPTER 10.24 TRUCK ROUTES; DEFINING THOSE STREETS NAMELY <br />YELLOWSTONE HIGHWAY AND SIPHON ROAD WITHIN THE CITY <br />UPON WHICH TRUCKS MAY TRAVEL; REPEALING PRIOR <br />CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR THE SEVERABILITY OF <br />THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS <br />ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />CHUBBUCK, IDAHO: <br />Section 1. Chapter 10.24. The following Chapter 10.24, "Truck Routes", is <br />hereby adopted: <br />Chapter 10.24 <br />TRUCK ROUTES <br />Sections: <br />10.24.010 <br />Definitions <br />10.24.020 <br />Applications of regulation. <br />10.24.030 <br />Truck routes established. <br />10.24.040 <br />Truck traffic within the city. <br />10.24.050 <br />Enforcement. <br />10.24.010 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms, <br />phrases, and their derivations shall have the meaning given in this section: <br />A. ''Deviating truck" is a trick which leaves and departs from a truck <br />route while traveling within the city. <br />B. 'Person" is a person, firm partnership, association, corporation, <br />company or organization of any kind. <br />C. "Truck" is any vehicle designed or operated for the purpose of <br />transportation of property, and whose licensed vehicle weight exceeds twenty-six <br />thousand pounds but does not include a semi -tractor which weighs less than <br />twenty-six thousand pounds and is separated at the time of operation from the <br />trailer. <br />D. "Truck route" is a way over certain streets as designated in this <br />chapter, over and along which trucks coming into and going out of the city must <br />operate. <br />Ordinance - Page 1 <br />dsc chbbckO8.283 <br />
