Present- Hillman, Unde~mod, Henry, Buchanan, Taylor, McDevitt, Les Ballif. Called to order 8:00 P.M, Minutes of last regular meeting then read and apDroved as read. Bills for month nre~ented to Council. Motion to aoprove payment on bills made by Henry, seconded by Taylor. All in favor. Financial reoort for past monSh ore~ented to Board. 181 .Public Utilities Co~nission Hearing on :fell No 3 then exr. lained by McDevitt. Copy of results on file in City Office. ~Gradually phase in Official'kaad Grades- This shoud be done on all road in the City. Motion then made by B~chanan that City accept official grade from Yellow-stone west on Chubbuck Road to the Canal. Give ~ermi~.sion to the phone Co. for a Man-hole cover if they conform to the Grade and they ~ay all the costs. Motio~ seconded by Underwood, Ail in favor. Magleby Manors Plat- After a long 4iscussion Motion was made by Buchanan that the City vacate that portion of the 1st Plat nmrked in red on Magleby ~nors Sub-division according to legal description. Copy attached to the minutes. And subject to signatures of all other ~roperty o-mers c~ncerned. ~btion seconded by Underwood, All in favor. Buffalo Road ~.~ter line- ~uchanan suggested that the City allow Gary Carleen and Franklin Briscoe anoth 30 days to get their ~-~ter lines in and the Uity will still ~pay the difference bet~.,een the d inch and six inch line. The time limit was 60 days, but Council all agreed to extend this another 30 days.Carlsen wants hoek-uos and the Council all agreed he could do tha~-~,and oay for the 5/~ onch hook-up water rate in the winter and oay for the 1 inch ~ter rate in the summer. He will h~ve to ~ut a fire hydrant at the end on the line so the line can be flushed. The City will ~ay for the fire hydrant at the corner of E. Chubbuck Road ~and Buffalo Road, But Carlsen will have to -~ay for the other hydrants. ' Buz'!ey Drive ease:eat:- a:~d ~ater line- ~xnlaii~ed by Buchanan. Applic~?:tions for Police .~ob then read by Underwood. After dJ_scussion it ~ras decided ~_to have interviews wibh some of the aoolicants and if none are suitable we Will have to look further for the help. Joe Brennan was ar~oointed for the shut-off man for the water Dept. and the Board and Hensley all agreed to stand back of him. Hensley's Day's off that he has worked s~nce May. Council decided to pay him for these days off. Meeting reeessed at 1'1:00 P.M. til~ further notice if necessary. City Clerk
