VillaFe of Chubbuck, held in the Municipal Building of the Village of
Ch~.~uck on October 9, 1962.
Present-Hillman, Davis, Frasure, Ward and McDevitt.
Called to order 8:0~ P.M.
Minutes of the last regular meeting then read and approved a~ read.
Bills for the onth ~resented to the Board. Motion to appz~ove pay-
ment made b~ Hillman, seconded by ~'rasure. Ail in favor.
F~nancial and ?oloce r~perts for month presented to Board.
Street light at Pole Line and Quinn ~oads- Ail agreed to share the
cost of this liEht with Pocatello. We will pay t~oc~tello directly as
the.v can Fet a lower rate than we can.
Letter of Resignation from Lee Trost read by Davis. Boar~ all agreed
~o accept, with reFret, the resignation and reeuested the Clerk to
write a letter of ammrec~_ation and thanks to Trost.
Replacement for Trost- Hillman nominated C. R. Underwood and Ward
nominated Kent J. Parr~sh. After a disc~:ssion the final ,flacision was
C. R. Underwood. by majority vote.
Power Co. on subdivisions- Subdividers are not ~ivfmg easements for
poles for street lirhts. In the future the Board will check closely on
plats for subdivisions to see that such easements are included ~n the
plans. -
Hiway Ave. Extension- Erasure ~sked if Hiwa,y Ave. could be extended
for about 300 feet to ~o all the way to the Railroad Tracks. Disc~]ssion
followed and the dec~sion was t~]at the Village is not ~r the business
of opening and devoleping streets. The subdivider does his own road
work.
State Hiwav De~t.- Resolution read ~Y ~";c~evitt. Motion to accept
the resolution ma~e b}~ Hillman, seconded b~ Ward. Roll call vote for
passage-Ward-,ves, Frasure-?fes,. Hillman-.ves,~ Dav~s-~es~., . Co.~y. of
Resolution is attahhed herewith to these minutes.
Magleby Subdivision- Brennan stated that we n~ed permissisn
the State Hiway Dept. to cut the Hiway or else we will have to come up
the east side of Yellowstone from Hiway Ave. Discussion followed.
Southern Idaho Eeuip. Co.- presented more facts and f~ures on a
gasoline powered motor gr@der. Price ~11,926.20 delivered in Chubbuck
for a Special D with loader, cab, blade, etc., 12 foot mow board,
~8 horsepower. Discuaaion followed but no definite decision was
rewched at this time.
