the Village of Ch~bbuck, held in the Municipal Building of the
Village of Chubbuck on July 10, 1962.
Present- Davis, Ward, Frasure, Trost, McDevitt.
Absent- Hillman.
Called to order 8:1~ P.M.
Minutes of the last regular meeting read and approved as read.
Bills for the ~onth presented to Board. Notion to approve payment
of bills m~de by Ward, seconded by Frasure. All in favor. Financial and Police reports presented to Board.
Well No i House- Board all agreed that t~e windows should taken
out and grates p~t in. Davis will see abcut this job.
Fairgrounds Water-To avoid low water pressure during the day~ th e
County has ~greed to r~a the '.~+sr w~on in the early morning hours,
starting at ~:00 A.i~._
Paving Streets- Stuart Ave. hiw~.y Ave. and Valenty Road.were all
discussed but no decision was r~ached at this meeting.
Stuart Additional Hook-ups- Ruton Stuart was given permission to
extend the water line across from the Park,not to exceed 6 hook-ups .
All Board members a~reed on this matter.
Park Fence- Jim Stuart will put in culverts for posts and the Board
will look at them when he has several of them in, and will then decid~
if that is the fence they want for the Park.
Greener Pastures Sub-division- After studying plat and discussing
it the Board voted to approve the Plat, providing another road is
added on the East side, or at least a 2~ foot easement is provided
there.
Magleby Sub-division- was discussed by Board but the Plat has to
be fixed up into a final platform before the Board will act on it.
Natural Gas- After discussion it was decided to have a special
meeting with officials of the Gas Company within the next week so
they can go over the Franchise and discuss it further. The Gas Co.
now has 9~ signed up tc take the Gas.
Delegation of Authority to Board members- slips were drawn for
the various departments and the following are the results. Street
Dept- Frosure, Police ~nd Fire Depts- Tr~st, Waterworks- Ward, and
Park- Hillman. Davis ~s to work with all of them and help them with
their vnrious problems.
Underground Water Storage Tank- was discussed and Ward and D~vis
are to check into cost and type and see if we can afford one at this
time.
