HomeMy WebLinkAbout06 12 1962 CM Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Chubbuck, held in the Municipal B~ilding of the Village of Chubbuck on June 12, 1962. Present- Ward, Davis, Trost, Frasure, Hill~an, and McDevitt. Called to order 8:0~ P.M. Minutes of the last regular meeting read and approved as read. Bills for the mt nth presented to Board. Motion to approve payment made by Ward, seconded by Trost, all in favor. Financial re~ort for the month presented to Bosrd. Beer License at Fairgre,~nds- Letter~'from Fair ~oard read to Board. License approved fer Yocatello J.C.'~. Letter is on file. Natural Gas for Chubb~ck- Stun Da?? and ~. E. Tracy present and presented map for study by ~oard. Discussion followed and decision was to meet again on June 13, 1962 at 3;0~= P.M. at Green Triangle. Stalls in Barn at Fairgrounds- Hili~an asked if the Village could furnish one and have the name of the Village put up on it. It is the opinion of the Board that we cannot spend public funds for this but t~e Attorney is to check into it and see if it is legal. Hawthorne Road Extension- Neider will have a~out 6 or $ hook-ups off the 6 inch line on Hawthorne Road and the Board all agreed that he is to pay ~7~.00 for each hook-up off the main line. H~avy Duty E~uipment- G. Neith Taylor was ~resent, represemting the Valley Supply & E~uipment Co. He ~ave some prives for buying or leasing Industrial Heavy Duty E~uipment, such as Tractor with loader and Tractor with backhoe. Discussion followed. No decision reached at this time. Ordinance # ~4- Mobile Home owners present asked about a Trailer House that moved aut and now wants to move back in the Village. According to the Ordinance, once it is moved out, it cannot be moved back ~n. Board all a~reed that any arguments should be argued in Court. Fairgrounds Water- County is net paying enough for water used and power it requires to pump that water. Hens!ey reported that CountF is ~l!ing to pay for additional power if t~e Vil!a~e needs it. Meter should be read the 1st of ever? month and the bill sent to the Co~nt~ regularly. Larr~~ Davis was appointed to read the meter each mo~th, and all Board members a~r~d on this appointment. Street Pav~ng- Ward is to obtain bids for ~rading and ~aving. Park- Discussion on the drinking fountain and restrooms.
