Village of Chubbuck, hold in the Municipal Building of the Village of
Chubbuck, on May 8, 1962.
Present-Davis, Trost, Hillman, Ward, McIi.)evitt.
Absent- Frasure.
Called to order 8:03 P.M.
Minutes of the last regulat meetin~ then raad and approved as read.
Bills for month presented to Board. Motion to approve payment made
by Trost. Seconded by Hil].,an. Ail in favor.
Financial report fro month presentc, d to Board.
Beer Licenses- Board stated that they httd no objections to the
applications for beer licenses. Hensle.y had no objections either.
Water line extension on Hawthorne Road- Davis stated t~,at we can
get pipe fro~. Beall Pipe Co out of Boise, for .,_23~ a foot for 4inch
pipe and 1.1~ a foot for 6 inch pi~e, all 12 gage dipped and wrapped.
~r4 all agreed that we should order tbs v~e from Peall Co. Brennan
stated that tb, e Village should not buy pipe for individuals end the
_~oard ell agreed but said they wo~ld get Yeider's pi. De this time
so it can all come in one load, and he will be needing a?out
hook-ups right a~.~ay.
~ids for di~ging sr:d backfill on new line- Kieith ~ell bid .~a~ a
foot for ~ foot deep trench and ll.00 per hour for truck for hauling
away rocks. Marshall Development Co. bid .6a~ a foot for a ~ foot
deep trench. After a discussion the ~oard decided to hire Ke~th Bell
for the dffg~in~ and kackfill and hauling away of rocks.
Magleby Plat north of S~phon Road- wa~,ts a deal like i,~,hitaker Ro~d
~,rbere they pt]t up tt~e money now and the Vf~la~e nay ~hem beck a
certaffn amount each .year. Discussion followed and the Decisfon was for
tbe~ to put this in the ~orm of a contract and present it to tk~e Board
for further study ~efore approval.
Street Ii~hts- ~.fter discussion, fit was de¢~ded to see what the
State will do about lights along Eas~ Chubk. uck Road Hiway, and if
they don't in, tall them then th;e Vi]la?e will hav~ lis'hts installed
at ~'~aitaker Road &- East 6hubtt,tck Road, Brennan Lane & ~ast Chubbuck
Road ,and Rose Street ~nd Stuart Ave.
Tractor w~th backhoe or loader on a lease basis- fi?utes studied
by Poard but decisfon was that ~,.'e ~annot afford anything like this .,vet.
3 hook-ups by ?ark- Davis ~s to talk tc .[~tuart about these as they
are on our exist~ng line and s~,culd be paid for now.
Park Traff!er House akc~:t a year ,while building a home- Carl Eden
was present and nresentad thffs ~rob].em to the Board. Discussion

Restrooms at Park- r:oard authorized Clarence P_lack of Cb~%t~ck

rest of the ~lans so they know what to work ~,rith end can arrive st
a bid for t~r~e work.
Pavin~ Streets- Trost au?posted that if we are to pave ar.¥ streets
thfs summer ~,~re need to ~"et figt~res, see what they will contract for,
get a local imnrovement district established, and ?et k~6s on the work.
Davis will talk tc the County and McDevitt is to see about the Bond
issue o
McOmber Plat- Studied and discussed at length hy the Board. No
de6ision reached at this time as sufficient information was not
presented to Board.
