Called to order 8:10 P.M.
Present-Davis, Trost, Wa~d, Hillma$,and McDevitt.
Absent- Frasure.
Mioutes of the last regular meeting then read a~d approved as read.
Pills for the ~onth presented to the Board. Motion to approve
pa~ent made b~ Ward, seconded by Hillman. All in favor. Financial report for month presented to Board.
Resolution setting the mill levy- read in full b~ Mc~evitt. Ro~l
call vote for passage cf resolutdon. Ward-yes, Trost-ves, Hillman-yes,
aos Davis-yes.
Assessed Valuation for the Village for 1961 was $621,226.00.
East Chubhuck Road- Drain is plugged up a~d water is seeping
on property of John Va].enty. Board a]~ agreed t~at t~ey will have to
use the Fdre h~se to clean out the d~$in and that t~e Vi]la~e will
try to see that this matter is remedied.
Letter regarding 0rd~nance ~ ~- read in full by ~cDevitt. After
a discussdon ~t was the decision of the ~oard that no excep'tions can
be made wit~out changing the 0rd~nance, so no action was taken.
Parrish Drive- Mail delivery has stopped due to bad roads. During
the d~scussion that followed it was brought ~ut that the 6ounty digger
and crusher is still buried in the mud from the recent flood and as
soon ~s we can we will ~et gravel and fix the road, in the meantime
McDevitt will contact the Postmaster and see about mail delivery for
th~s street. He will also see about the culvert that goes un~er the
highway at about the dntersect~on of Parrish Drive ~nd Yellowstone.
Stuart Addition- 2nd stage water hook-ups. Rulon Stuart was present
and stated that they will need about 2~ hook-ups for the 2nd stage of
the Staurt Addition, ard wanted to know if the Village wants the hook-
ups put in now.After much discussion it was the decision of the Board
that Stuart put in the hook-ups,according to V~llage' soecifications,
Stuart ~s to oay for everythinga~d the Village is to c~ar~e the $2.00
service chsr~e ~hen the ho~es are occupied and the water turned on.
This is all to be in the form of a written a~reement. Stuart is to
put th~s all in a statement and pre~ent it to the Board so they can
study it for aporoval.
