Village 0f Chubbuck, held in the Municipal Building of the Vil].sge
of Chubbuck on January 9, 1962.
Present-Ward, Trost, Frasure, Davis, Hillman, and McDevitt.
Called to order 8:0a P.M.
Minutes of the last regular meetin~' then re~d and approved.
First order cf business was the ?ub]]c ~earing on the Annual
A~propriat~on ~ill of'1962. There was no protest. ~
Bi]Is for the mcnth pres~nted to Board. Motion to a~prove payment
made by Trost, secor~ded b~ Frasure. All in favor.
Fina~cial and ~'o]ice re~ort for the month presented to Board.
~ Fina~cial and Budget report for the fiscal ~?ear just ended, then
presented to Board.
Ordinance ~ ~6. The annual appropriation bii1 for 1962 then read
in full by McDe~itt. Yotion to suspend the rules, read once in full
and twice b~ title then made by Ward, seco~ded by Hiliman. Roll call
vote for suspension of rules. Ward-yes, Hil]man-~es, Trost-yes,
Frasu~e-¥es and Davis-~ves.
Ordinance #~6 then read twice b? title b)~ McDevitt. Roll call
vote for p~ssage of 0rdi~ance ~6. Ward-~es, Hi]]man-yes, Trost-yes,
Frasure-¥es and Davis-yes.
)'~ater r~te for Dr~ Clean Business at ~82~ Yellowstone. After a
discussion ~t was the decision of the Board that the rate per month
wou~d be 1[.~.~0 th® same as the Laundr~ is ~_aying, and also that
since there is no separate connection for t~is business, and the
connection for the ?uilding is already paid, the Dry Clean Business
wi2~ be required to pay for materials used for their connection to
the existing line in the building, yy~
Cement S~abs over Valve ~oxes- Brennan stated that^need some
protection over our ~alve boxes a~d aft~er a discussion the ~oard
agreed that this should be done. They can ?'et the cement covers for
7.00 each. We need a~o~t 22 of them. Motion to approve purchase of
these ccv~rs made b~ Hillman, seconded b~ Trost. Ail in favor.
Park- needs some protection to keep cars from drivin~ on the lawn.
Th~s was d~scussed but no action was taken at this time.
McOmber Fire Hazard- this matter has not been ~aken care of yet.
The fire hazard still exists. More contacts are to be made to remedy
this.
Street Lights- The Eoard all agreed that a street light ~s needed
at the intersection of Linden and yellowstone. The Clerk will make
the necessary arra~ements.
Natural Gas-McDevitt ex~tained that hehad contacted the Gas men
and we should have an answer from them b~.~ next meeting.
Respect for the ~o]ice Officer- McDevitt explained that sc~e
people are not showing ~roper resuect for the Officer when he is
preforming ~is duty. In the future these people will be prosecuted.

For lack of a muorum due to the Flood, no rezular meet~ng was ~
held in February, 1962.
