of Chubbuck, on Dece.ml~er 12, 1961 '
Present-Davms,' Trost, Ward, Hill.man and McDevitt.
Absent- Frasure, excused for work.
Ca_~i~ed to order .8:!2 P.M.
Min~tes cf the last regt~lar meetin~ then read and approved as ~:'ead.
Bills for the n~enth p~esented to Board. Motion to ap::rove payment
of bills made by Ward, seconded b~~ Trost. All in favor.
Financial and ~'o]ice ~eports for month presented to Board.
Liquor Licenses- Four applications for Lisuor Licenses for 1962
were presented to Board. Board approved all fot~r applics, tions provff, ding
they present their State and County licenses before Village licenses
can be i~sued. Hensle.y stated that he had no objections to the
~pplieations.
Street lights- Board decided that the~ do net need a Utff!it? ~'ole
on the east side of Yellowstone for the ~i, treet light to k:e installed
at Stuart Ave. &Ye]]owstone. One of the poles on the west sffde of
Ye!].owstone will serve the purpose just as
Park- Jim StUart bad complained that cars ~ere driving on the Park.
~.ie.mbers decided that since th~.e r~d has been fixed the cars have
stopped thais practice and are net drivinp' or: ~he park ]awn any `more.
Fire Hazard in Vi]lage- Hensley recor~ted that a vacant house located
just south of the Colonial Motel, a~d-owned ky A.F.Mc0mber is being
used by children in the morn~'ngs as a place to get in out of the
wind & weather and are lighting matches and building fires to keep
warm and th~s creates a fire hazard for all the surrounding area.
Board dec~.ded that this is private property emd it i~-~ the responsibilit
of McOmber to correct this situation b.v boarding up the ~::uilding.
Mobile Home 0wmer's- Presented recc~.~endaticns for chance:es in
Ordinance# ~. A long discussion followed. No decision was reached
at this time.
Board then worked on the Budget for fiscal year of 1962. A detailed
copy is attached to these minutes.
Estimate of Expenses- Resolution then read in full b.y Clerk.
Moti. on to adopt the estimate of expenses as read made by Hill.man,
seconded by '.,,lard. Roll call Vote for passage of Estimate of Expenses
aa follows, ~.,lard-~res, Hillman-yes, Trost-?es and Davis-yes.
Resolution for setting the day and place for holding a pu. blmc'
hearing on the St,~estion of `making a general tax lev.v for the Village
of Chubbuck for tb~e current fiscal year then read in full b.v the
Clerk. Motion to adopt the resolution as read made by Ward, seconded
by Hillman. Roll call vcte for passage of resolution as follows-
