Village of Cbub~uck, held in the Municipal Building of the Village
of Chubb-~ck on September 12, 1961.
Present- Ward, Hill~an, Trost and Mc~evitt.
Absent- Frasure and Dav~s, excused for p?evious ¢ommittment.
In the absence of Chairman Davis, Hillman was appointed Chairman
pro-tern.
Cai. led to erder at 8:10 P.M.
Minutes of the ]past regular meeting then read and approved.
Bills for the month presented to ~,oard. Motion to approve
pa,yment made by Ward, seconded b.v Trost. Ail in favor.
Financial and ?olice' reports for mcnth presented to Board.
Deed for far e~st end of Hiway Ave. - Clerk reported that she
was unable to find any acceptance of the Deed in the Minutes Book.
Rodeo Watchmen- have been paid by the Rodeo Committee.
Fire Dept- Ail Board members a~reed to have Carl Hensiey order
more Foam for the Fire Truck, and aisc to pay for the Foam that
is alread? here.
Hiwa.,v Dept.- Christ.rosen exl~li~ed the position of the Hiway
Dept. at this time in eegards to the use of East Chubbuck Road
as a main Hiway on a temporary basis for ap?roxfm~tely a year.
Resolution for Cooperative Agreement for Temporary State Hiway on
East Chubbuck Road read in full b,y McDevitt. Motion to approve
passage of the Resolution made by Trost, seconded by Ward. Roll
Call Vote- .;,,etd-yes, Trost-yes, and Hi lman-.yes.
Street Equipment- Marsh Valley Equip. Co. representative was
present a~d explained in detail the merits of a Tractor with
Loader a~d Backhoe attachments. Some prices were quoted but the
Board will not make a decision on this mat~er till a later date.
Garbage Disposal- The tentative agreement wi~.h Alameda was
explained ¥¥ McDevitt. After much d~scussion the Board decided
that the Contract should be put in order so the Village knows
where they stand before they act on it. They also want Alameda
to define Commercial Hauler and Imdustrial Hauler.
Nat~.~ral Gas- Trost asked how cert._wa get Natural Gas in Chubbuc k.
McDevi?t exp lined that before Natural Gas can come out here the
Board will have to ~rant them a Franchise. Board all agreed that
the~.~ should contact the Natural Gas Compahy and see just how soon
they can get Natural Gas out here?
