Minutes of the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Chubbuck, held in the Municipal Building of the Village of Chubbuck on July 18, 1961 Present- Davis, Ward, Trost and Mc~evitt. Absent- Hillman and Frssure. Called to order at 8:10 P.M. Minute8 of the last regular meeting then read and approved as read. Bills for the month presented to Board. Motion to approve payment of bills made by Ward, seconded by Tros~. All in favor. Financial and Police reports for the mo~th presented to Board. Beer License at Fairgrounds- Fair Association granted the Pocatello Junior Chamber of Commerce the concession and Board all agreed to grant them a Village Beer License. Evergreen Trailer Park Hook-up - Clerk read section 12 of Ordinance 18 to Board ~nd this explains why Parker is not entitled to any refund from the Village. Audit- All Board mambers agreed to have Dale Jones CPA do the audit. ContrOl of the Water Level at the Tank- Letter from Dyke's read in full be Davis. Motion to accept the agreement made by Ward, seconded by Trost, All ~n favor, provided maintenance of the line in included in the l~.00 per month fee. Loan from Gene~.al Fund to Waterworks fund- Motion made by Trost, seconded by Ward and all in favor to transfer 1,000.00 from the General Fund to the Waterworks Fund. This is tc~.repaid as soon as fu~ds are available in the waterworks fund. Highway Dept.- Resolution on a cooperative agreement between the State and the Village of Chubbuck for the construction of U.S. Inter- state Hi~hway 1~ and connections to local reads and streets, read in full by ~e~evitt. Roll call vote for acceptance of Resolution - Ward-yes, Trost-yes, and Davis-yes. The Village of Chubbuck is to furnish normal maintenance on the overpass of Chubbuck Road. Resolution copy is attached to these minutes. Water Dept Shut -off man.- All Board members agreed to hire Domenico Salvucci for this job. Stuart Ave.- Preparations are being made to form a ~ocal Improvement District for ~he oiling of this street. Water line for the Park- The Village is to put the line across the road. That is all the Village is to do. Stuart is to put in the rest of the llne, pay for the digging, pipe, laying, backfill etc. for continuation of his subdivision. Ail Board membera agreed to go ahead with the work on this water line. Village is to get the pipe and J.H.Stuart is to pay the Village for the pipe. Lou Lane- Residents from this area want Village water. Their well]~. is dry. They are in the City of Pocatello but are close to our water line. A long discussion followed. No dec~sion was reached there are many legal matters to be straightened out before the Village can even consider furnishing water to them.
