Minutes of the recessed meet~ng of May 16, 1961 of the Board of
Trustees of the Village of Chubbuck, held in 'the Munici~al Building
of the ViAlage of Chubbuck on May 25, 1961
Purpose- Study proposed Ordinance # 5~, the "Annual Appropriation
Ordinance of 1961".
Present- Davis, Ward, Hillman and Trost and Mc~evitt.
Absent- Frasure excused for work.
Called to order 6:35 P.M.
Proposed 0rdeinance No. ~5, the Annual Appropriation 0rdinance~
of 1961 then read in full by Clerk. Motion to suspend the rules,
read once in full and twice by Tit~e made by Ward~ '~conded by ,
Hillman. Roll call vote for suspension of the rules as follows:
Ward-yes, Hillman-yes, Trost-yes, and Davis-yes.
Ordinance # gg then read twice by Title by McDevitt. Roll call
vote for passage of Ordinance # gg as fellows: Ward-yes, Hillman-
yes, Trost- yes, and Davis-yes. Ordinance # g~ passed and Clerk
is to have it published.
Park- Ward exu~].ained that the new Lawn Mower needs to be fixed
as it is not working right. Since it is guaranteed it is up to
Brennan Hardware to get it fixed.
Whitaker Road Extension- Bids were opened by Davis. Empire
gonstruction Co. made a bid of .3~ per foot for digging and
backfilling. No other work was mentioned on their bid. Brennan
plumbing made a bid of .7~ per foot for digging, laying pipe,
tarring, wrapping, and backfilling trench. Village to furnimh all
materials. $25.00 labor to ~install each Fire Hydrant. Total to be
about $3,600.00 including materials, which the Village will furnish.
Motion to lmt Brennan do the work and get it started soon made
by Hillman, seconded by Trost. All in favor.
Meeting recessed till further notice if necessary at 7:00 P.M.
