HomeMy WebLinkAbout01 10 1961 CM Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Chubbuck, held in the Municipal Building of the Village of Chubbuck on January 10, 1961. Present- Ward, H~llman, Mitchell and Frasure. Absent- Davis and Mc~evitt, both out of town. In the absence of Chairman Davis, Hillman was appointed Chairman protem by Ward and Mitchell. Called to order 8:02 P.M. Minutes of the last regular meeting read and approved as read. Bills for the ~onth presented to Board. Motion to approve payment of bills mad~ by Mitchell, seconded by Hillman. All in favor. Bills as follews:W.0.Doman-21.2~,C.Hensley-h03.02,G.Valenty- l14-28.Stamps-20.00,Record Deeds-3.60,C. Financial & Police reports presented to Board. Hiway Users Revenue- Letter from Hiway Dept. read in full by Clerk and is on file. Letter stated that cities or Villages with a oopulatton over 300 would receive checks for Hiway Users Revenue f~om Mighway dept every quarter of the year. Fiargrounds Water- Ward asked if they have pa~d any w~ter yet, and the Clerk informe~ the Board that so far they have not paid any water bill. Board all agreed that as soon as Davis returns this matter should be straightened out. Garbage Disposal for Chuhbuck-During the discussion on Garbage osal it was brcu~ht out that someone has a 19~6 GMC 1S cubic Garb. age Truck for sale.Hillman stated that before we do anything about buying a truck, contracting the work out, or any thing else pertaining to this, we should see how the residents of the Village feel about such a set-up, and do they want this service, will they pay for this service. The ~oard decided that this matter needs more study before any action will ~e taken. Power to Well No.2- The Board asked the Clerk to check with Idaho Power and see why the bill for Well No.2 is so high when it is not in full use at this time fo the ~ear. 0rdi~ance No ~4.- Fowler was present and asked if anything had been done about the recommendations the Mobile Home Owners had presented to the Board pertaining to changes in 0rdina~ce # ~4. Hillman advised him that the Board will have to wait for the Attorney's advice before the Board could answer him, and also that they wo~ld try to have the Attorney present for the February meeting.
