The Strategic Plan Engineering Department Update September 4, 2019 Action Item: Implement an ADATransition Plan for Facilities and Programs (Shared role with each department head) Vision: ACity Progress: Engr. dept. representative participates in the ADA that is Diverse, Transition Plan Planning Group. Draft Plan has been Inclusive, and prepared and is being reviewed. Unified Made ADA improvements a priority of each design and construction project (Hawthorne Road — 6 new ramps, Chubbuck Elementary CPS Project - 25+ new ramps along with sidewalk and path, Yellowstone Ave. Ped. Ramp Project —14 new ramps Action Item: Implement an ADATransition Plan for Facilities and Programs Vision: A City Plan Forward: that is Diverse Continue to assist with the completion and f implementation of the ADA Transition Plan. THEY ARE PROVIDING ON THE JOB TRAINING. • SETUP AN IN-HOUSE TRAINING PROGRAM ALONG WITH OTHER DEPARTMENT TO TEACH, TRAIN, AND TEST THE CREWS ON EQUIPMENT. WHILE WELL WAS DOWN WE COMPLETELY CLEANED AND REPAINTED THE INSIDE OF THE WELL HOUSE. • GOT WELL #6 AND TANK ONLINE AND HILINE BOOSTER STATION UP AND RUNNABLE. • FINISHED REPLACING ALL KNOWN ASBESTOS CEMENT WATER PIPE IN THE SY • CLEANED 1/3 OF THE CITY SEWER MAINLINES. • GOT THE ODOR CONTROL. AIR PUMP AT RIO -VISTA LIFT STATION REBUILT. • PRESENTLY LOOKING AT AN ADDITIONAL SYSTEM TO HELP WITH THE OI RIO -VISTA ROAD AT THE LIFT STATION DISCHARGE. • REPLACED OLD INEFFICIENT SEWER PUMPS AT VALENTY LIFT STATION.
