IT'S THE GOAL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK WATER DEPARTMENT TO
PROVIDE CLEAN SAFE WATER TO EVERY RESIDENTIAL AND BUSINESS
TAP IN THE CITY; ALONG WITH MAINTAINING ADEQUATE RESERVES
FOR EMERGENCY NEEDS. WE EXCEED ALL GOVERNMENTAL AND
WATER INDUSTRY STANDARDS REQUIREMENTS. THE CITY OF

IT'S THE GOAL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK SEWER DEPARTMENT TO
FACILITATE THE CONVEYANCE PATHWAY FOR THE REMOVAL OF
WASTEWATER FROM ALL BUSINESSES & RESIDENCES IN THE CITY OF
CHUBBUCK. THIS ALLOWS WASTEWATER TO BE DELIVERED TO THE
REGIONAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT FOR CORRECT &
PROPER DISPOSAL. WE OPERATE EFFECTIVELY & PROFESSIONALLY
WHILE UTILIZING TECHNOLOGY TO PERFORM SYSTEM UPGRADES,
PREVENTIVE & ROUTINE MAINTENANCE ON THE CHUBBUCK
WASTEWATER SYSTEM. �,

• OPERATOR LICENSES MUST BE EQUAL TO OR GREATER THAN OUR SYSTEM CLASSIFICATION.

WHAT WE ARE DOING ON TRAINING
• THE EMPLOYEES WHICH CURRENT HOLD THEIR LICENSES ARE ATTENDING CLASSES AND
CONFERENCES TO OBTAIN THE REQUIRED CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEU'S) TO
MAINTAIN THEIR LICENSES.
• THE SENIOR EMPLOYEES ARE MENTORING THE YOUNGER EMPLOYEES. THEY ARE PROVIDING
ON THE JOB TRAINING.
• SETUP AN IN-HOUSE TRAINING PROGRAM ALONG WITH OTHER DEPARTMENT TO TEACH,
TRAIN, AND TEST THE CREWS ON EQUIPMENT.
WE CURRENTLY EMPLOY TWO INDIVIDUALS WHICH HOLD THE REQUIRED LEVEL OF LICENSES
• THREE MORE EMPLOYEES ARE WORKING TOWARDS OBTAINING THEIR REQUIRED
LICENSES
WE HAVE FOUR NEWER EMPLOYEES WHICH RECENTLY TESTED & OBTAINED THEIR WATER
OPERATOR IN TRAINING (O.I.T.)

REQUIREMENTS AT WELLS #4 AND #5.
• COMPLETELY WENT THROUGH WELL #5 PUMP AND MOTOR AND GAINED BETTER PUMP EFFIENCY.
WHILE WELL WAS DOWN WE COMPLETELY CLEANED AND REPAINTED THE INSIDE OF THE WELL
HOUSE.
• GOT WELL #6 AND TANK ONLINE AND HILINE BOOSTER STATION UP AND RUNNABLE.
• FINISHED REPLACING ALL KNOWN ASBESTOS CEMENT WATER PIPE IN THE SY
• CLEANED 1/3 OF THE CITY SEWER MAINLINES.
• GOT THE ODOR CONTROL. AIR PUMP AT RIO -VISTA LIFT STATION REBUILT.
• PRESENTLY LOOKING AT AN ADDITIONAL SYSTEM TO HELP WITH THE OI
RIO -VISTA ROAD AT THE LIFT STATION DISCHARGE.
• REPLACED OLD INEFFICIENT SEWER PUMPS AT VALENTY LIFT STATION.
