A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF CHUBBUCK, COUNT~
OF BA~EtOCK, STATE OF IDAHO, PROVIDING FOR Thee ACCEPTANCE
OF AN OFFER TO AM~END AN URBAN' PLANNING GRANT TO THE BAN~0CK
COUNTY PLANNING AGENCT TO AID IN FINANCING PROJECT DESIGNATED
AS NO. IDA. P-l: PROVIDI~IG FOR THE GRANTING OF AUTHORITY TO
THE OFFICERS OF SAID PLANNING AGENCY TO DELIVER CERTIfiED COPIES
OF THIS RESOLUTION AND OTHER DOCU~ENTS OR PROOFS REQUIRED TO
EFFECT AN ACCEPTANCE OF SAID AMENDED OFFER AND TO PERFORM ALL
OTHER ACTS AND THINGS REQUIRED TO BE DONE OR PERFORMflED IN
ORDER TO OBTAIN SUCH FEDERAL GRANT: PROVIDIEG FOR THE EFFECTIVE
DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE AND DECLARING AN E~ERGENCY TO EXIST.
WHEREAS, ~der the Housing Act of 19~4, as amended,
the United States of America (herein called the "Government")
has tendered to Bannock County Regiooal Planniog Commission
(berei~ called the "Planning Agency"), an offer, hereinafter
mentioned, to amend a~ Urba~ Pla~iog Grant to the Pla~i~g
~e~cy to aid i~ financing the project, designated Project No.
Ida. P-l; and
WHEREAS, the governing body of the Village of Chubbuck,
County of Baonock, State of Idaho, which is rspresented on the
sai8 Bannock County Regional Planning Commissio~ has give~ due
cousideration to said offer to amen8 said planning project; and
WHEREAS, the proposed amendment is considered to be
to the best interest of the objects desired by Bannock Co~nty.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUS~U£ES
OF THE VILLAGE OF CHUBB~CK, BAI~0CK COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1. The offer of the Government to the Planning
Agency dated February 1, 1960, to ameod Urban Planning Grant
Contract No. ISa. P-1 (G), executed the 10th day of September,
19~9, by the Banaock County Regional Planning Coo~nissiou
through its attorney of record, Gerald W. Olson is hereby
a~thorized, ratified a~d co~firmed.
Section 3. The Village of Ch~bbuck 8~es hereby agree
to abide by all of the provisio~s, t~rms and cooditio~s of said
offer to amend said contract.
Section 4. Authority is hereby granted to the officers
and duly appointed agents of the Planning Agency to send to
the Housing and Home Finance Agency certified copies of this
and such f~rther documents of proofs in connection with the
acceptance of said offer to amend as may be requested by the
Government, and to file requisitions, together with necessary
supporting documents, with the Government from time to time
as grant funds are required, requesting payments to be made
to the Planning Agency on account of the grant provided
in said offer to amend, and to do and perform all other things
and acts required to be done or performed in order to obtain
s~ ch payments.
