HomeMy WebLinkAbout1964-060 Rate & service for SanitationcDEVITI' ~ McDEVITT ATTORN ~¥$-AT- LANV RESOLUTION WHEREAS, The VILLAGE OF CHUBBUCK, by Ordinance No. ~ D has passed and made compulsory garbage collection and sanitary service within the Village, and the Board of Trustees of said Village are charged by said Ordinance with setting the classes, rates and type of service by Resolution for the administration and enforcement thereof; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the governing body of the Village of Chubbuck, Bannock County, Idaho, the following classes of service for garbage collection and sanitary service as defined in said ordinance, and the rates for such service are hereby established: Single family dwellings and residences, rate $ 2.00 per month Occupied trailer houses outside licensed trailer courts are deemed single family dwellings. D~ltiple family dwelling units and apartments , $2.00 per month for and other multiple dwellings rate the first unit, plus additional $1.50 per month for each additional kitchen or food service area. If garbage or refuse cans are stored in separate areas or at separate collection points, each such unit so storing or using separate areas are to be deemed single family dwellings. Commercial buildings, stores, motels, hotels, trailer courts, restaurants, cafes, drive-ins, industrial plants, processing plants and similar establishments. Suitable charges for sanitary service ~.~ll be set by the Board of Trustees according to the volume, weight and type of refuse and garbage, and the frequency of service necessary or desirable. In the absence of such agreement or setting of such rates, the Village, on its contractor, shall be under, no duty to collect garbage or refuse from any of the establishments men- tioned in this sub-section; but this shall not relieve owners or operaters of such establishments from any of the requirements of the Ordinance regulating hauling or storage of refuse and garbage. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES, That all garbage and refuse from residential areas shall be collected weekly; that the sanitary officer, or other authorized representa- tive is empowered to divide the Village into suitable sections or -1- ~cDEVITT & McDEVITT ATTORNEYS-AT-LAW BUILDING units having different garbage collection days, and to notify the inh~itants of each sub-section or unit, on his water bill or othe~ise, the day of garbage collection.
