ORDINANCE NO. 7.51
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, AMENDING SECTION
2.08.010 OF THE CHUBBUCK MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE THE TIME AND
DAYS OF CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS TO 6:00 PM ON THE FIRST AND THIRD
WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH; TO PROVIDE THE MAYOR MAY CANCEL OR
RECESS ANY MEETING; REPEALING PRIOR CONFLICTING ORDINANCES;
PROVIDING FOR THE SEVERABILITY OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
ORDINANCE; PROVIDING THAT ALL OTHER SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 2.08
NOT AMENDED SHALL REMAIN IN EFFECT; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS
ORDIN.ANCE TS EFFECTIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHUBBUCK, IDAHO:
Section 1. Section 2.08.010 is amend to read as follows:
2.08.010: REGULAR MEETINGS. The city council shall hold regular meetings
on every second and f6tnth Tuesday first and third Wednesday of each month at seven
o :60j -P.M. six o'clock (6:00) P.M. The city council may, by unanimous vote at
the first meeting of the month, dispense with the second meeting of that month if it
appears unnecessary. If a day fixed for any regular meeting falls upon a day designated by
law as a legal or national holiday, the meeting scheduled for such day shall be held on a
date to be specified by unanimous vote of the city council in the next preceding regular
meeting. The Mayor or, in the absence of the Mayor, the President of the Council shall
have the power to cancel or recess any meeting to a different place or time upon giving
due notice thereof
ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS
Section 1. Repeal of Conflicting Ordinances. The provisions of any Ordinance of the
City and any provision of the Municipal Code which are in conflict with the provisions of this
Ordinance are repealed to the extent of such conflict. All other sections of Chapter 2.08 not
herein amended shall remain in effect.
Section 2. Severability. The sections of this ordinance are severable. The invalidity of a
section shall not affect the validity of the remaining sections.
Section 3. Effective Date. The rule requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate
days, one of which shall be a reading in full, is dispensed with, and this Ordinance shall become
effective upon its passage, approval and publication.

An ordinance of the City of Chubbuck, a municipal corporation of the state of Idaho,
amending section 2.08. 010 of the Chubbuck Municipal Code to change the time and days of city
council meetings to 6:00 pm on the first and third Wednesday of each month; to provide the
mayor may cancel or recess any meeting; providing for the repeal of conflicting ordinances;
providing that all other provisions of Chapter 2.08 not amended shall remain in effect; providing
for the severability of the provisions of this ordinance; providing when this ordinance shall be in
effect.
