Minutes of the recessed meeting of May ~2, 1965, of the Board of Trustees of
the Village of Chubbuck, held at the Clerk's Office, 1~ Ya!enty ~aad on
May 26, 1965
Purpose - Discuss Ordinance # 54. Trailer Coach Ordinance.
Present- Ward, Christensen, and Underwood.
Absent- Hillman, exc~sed for illness.
Called to order 7:00 P.M.
George Foster would like to apply for a license to operate a Trailer Court,
but does not want to put in any central facilities. The plan they ~esented
was not too accu~ate~ and their water lines would have to be changed as they
crossed over the septic tank and cesspool. After discussion the Board all
agreed that they need a better print of the plans and will have to consult
with the Attorney before any action can be taken.
Water at County Fairgrounds - Ward has talked to Cormudssioners and the County
would like to get water from Pocatello and discontinue use of Chubbuck Water.
but Pocatello cannot furnish all the water they need right now. They also need
400 feet of 6 inch Cast Iron Pipe to make a proper connection with the
Pocatello system, and asked if the Village could f~rnish this. Ward explained
that the Village is in no financial condition to do this. As for raising the
water rate for the County, this will have to be decided at a later meeting.
Meeting fecessed at 8:00 P.M, till further notice if necessary.
