Council Meeting Minutes
October 1, 2014
6:00 p.m.
Minutes of a regular Council Meeting held at the City of Chubbuck Council Chambers, October
1, 2014. The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by Councilmember Kermit Morrison.
Rich Morgan called the roll. Mayor Kevin England -absent, Councilmembers: Josh Ellis -absent,
Ryan Lewis -present, Kermit Morrison -present, Brent Marshall -present.
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was led by Councilmember Ryan Lewis.
Approval of the minutes for the council meeting held September 17, 2014. Councilmember
Lewis motioned to approve the minutes with a spelling correction on the invocation.
Councilmember Morrison seconded. Roll call vote: Lewis -yes, Morrison -yes, Marshall -yes.
Stuart Ward, 4737 Afton Place, presented the final plat for the Academy Charter School. It was
explained that the Academy will utilize the irrigation water available to them and is including in
their construction plans the extension of water and wastewater utilities to their location.
Councilmember Marshall motioned to approve the final plat for Academy Charter School.
Councilmember Lewis seconded. Roll call vote: Lewis -yes, Morrison -yes, Marshall -yes.
Steve Smart explained the Carmike Subdivision final plat. Farmers Holding is proposing to
build an addition to its existing theater. Councilmember Lewis motioned to approve the final
plat for Farmers Holding. Councilmember Marshall seconded. Roll call vote: Lewis -yes,
Morrison -yes, Marshall -yes.
Offer of Dedications for Brookstone Estates Division 2, City of Chubbuck Well 93, AF
Chubbuck, Yellowstone Commons -Division 1, Yellowstone Commons -Division 2, Chubbuck
Maverik Subdivision, Gryffin Hollow and Smiths Subdivision were presented to the council.
Steve explained the offers, each project is complete to the city's requirements and staff
recommends acceptance. Councilmember Marshall motioned to accept the Offer of Dedications.
Councilmember Lewis seconded. Roll call vote: Lewis -yes, Morrison -yes, Marshall -yes.
Computer printout claims for October 1, 2014 were presented to the Mayor and Council for
approval and payment. Councilmember Morrison moved to approve the claims for October 1,
2014 as published. Councilmember Lewis seconded. Roll call vote: Lewis -yes, Morrison -yes,
Marshall -yes.
At 6:17pm Councilmember Morrison adjourned the meeting.
