COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
April 14, 1998
Minutes of a Special Council Meeting held at city municipal building, April 14, 1998.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Council members Leroy S. Quick, Steven M. England, W. Dean
Wood, Marvin C. Gunter, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes, Public Works Director Steven M.
Smart and City Clerk Ron C. Conlin.
Meeting called to order at 6:05 p.m. by Mayor Cotant.
PURPOSE OF Special Meeting shall be to conduct a study session discussing water, sewer and
sanitation rates.
The following residential rates were discussed:
Water
Sewer
Sanitation
$14.00 minimum $.95 per 1000 gallons
$18.50
$13.50
Mayor Cotant stated, the 1995 Water Bond costs City Residents $6.00 per single family
residence. '
Discussion about impact on residents on fixed income. The circuit breaker is available to
residents that meet requirements.
City of Chubbuck entered into agreement with City of Pocatello, which includes an
increase on wastewater collection and treatment services.
At 7:15 p.m., after considerable discussion, Councilman Quick moved, Councilman Wood
seconded, with full council approval to adjourn meeting.

CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK
Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50 -604, the undersigned Mayor of the City of ehiubbuck,
Idaho, hereby calls a special meeting of the City- Council to be held at the Chubbuck Municipal
Building, at the hour of 6:00 p.m., on Tuesday, the 14th., day of April, 1998. The object of the
special meeting is to conduct a study session on water, sewer and sanitation rates.
